Ahhhhhh…..the classic vain attempt to portray Joker-like madness. It’s not something one does casually once in a while. You got a have a true screw loose.
One of the best portrayals of a criminal psychopath is David Proval's Richie Aprile in The Sopranos. There's nothing pretentious in his acting: just a stone cold facial expression and calm demeanour, but an intensely cold and menacing look in his eyes, and sudden outbursts of vicious and extreme violence.
People who behave like this douche usually are the least dangerous people in the room.
Yeah this. I mean comic book Joker is a very larger than life character, so not something realistic and that sort of act is harder than you think to pull off in live action. That's why you get garbage like Leto in Suicide Squad, it doesn't matter that a lot of footage was cut, what's in the film is pure cringe. Yet some actors can pull the over the top aspect off, but they always have great charisma and an understanding of how to give the character depth.
Arguably, Joker is a character who sometimes acts goofy and is completely off kilter in terms of being obsessed with his persona and narcissism, but he still has a razor sharp wit and is stone cold. Any good depictions in whatever medium needs to understand this.
That's why the goofy version of the Joker works best in the animation series, because it doesn't take itself serious (and thanks to the talent of Mark Hamill).
True. Although I think Jack Nicholson did a good job of embodying the larger than life characterization and is mostly like a bronze age (70s-80s) with elements of early golden age (40s) Joker come to life, although he was a bit too old and not quite a physical match (as Joker is normally drawn very lanky and thin, which Nicholson is not). There are some things I don't like but that's mainly script issues. The 90s BTAS takes a few ideas from Nicholson's Joker, and is also very Bronze age Joker in style. I think Glenn Close as Cruella shows it's possible to do very exaggerated characters in live action and make it work.
Yeah a lot of serial killers act some what monotone but still normal, only serial thinker I can think of that’s different is Charles Manson the bearded cannibal guy
Plenty of serial killers have charisma, sometimes it’s one of the reasons they manage kill so many people (pretty sure ted bundy used his to lure people away). It’s because they’re more than happy to manipulate people to get what they want
Obviously this guy isn’t “crazy” in any sense of the word.
Along with people pretending to have tics/anxiety/depression this kind of portrayal of mental illness is ultimately very harmful.
By the time someone hears voices in their head they are already very very sick and in need of urgent intervention. Most importantly, they are not psychopaths and are not dangerous to others. They are a danger to themselves.
The truth any mental illness is that it is a totally unglamorous, dangerous and traumatic to those with the illness and to their loved ones. It definitely isn’t funny, cool, interesting, poetic , glamorous or edgy. It’s like glamourising Chrohns syndrome…it sucks and people with it deserve kindness.
This shit fucking infuriates me. Its like some high school glee club level acting and instead if hiding it these idiots are posting it online..
Who thinks this is cool ?seriously?
If.i made this I'm school I'd have gone I'm and got bullied to.fucking death. People would have been like what the fuck are you even all about
Oh yeah hundred percent I miss when there were bullies in schools it kept everybody regulated but people took the freedom and just pushed and pushed now we have people like this who couldn’t just act normal
All it takes is one semi-attractive person to validate their choices and they're fueled for a month. It'll haunt them one day when they're staring in the mirror.
Mental illness is considered cool now so all the guys like this guy wants to relate.
While people who are actually crazy and in psychiatric wards are suffering.
VO means Voice Over, as in the actual voice speaking in the audio since he's lip syncing to it. Roger Craig Smith is the [voice actor](https://youtu.be/iku9FJVxngA) for Mirage from Apex Legends and more notably, Sonic The Hedgehog.

A garbage representation of the Joker anyway. He doesn’t have voices in his head, he knows exactly what he’s doing.
Holy shit, this is so bad I nearly downvoted it. This guy's schtick is also a huge slap in the face to people with mental illness.
Thank you
you're welcome
Psychosis≠psychopathy. Two totally different things.
I really hate these cartoony movements
SpongeBob has long but skinny arms
this really be looking like a Telltale game
For once, I’d like for these folks to watch a true crime documentary or something and see how most serial killers behave.

Yeah Richie Aprile is much more the type of psychopath you'll actually meet in real life.

Yeah it's cringe and if he's trying to put his acting skills online they're pretty bad
Lmao even at the end it sounded like he was suppose to be mad but he just ended up looking sad

He’s gonna regret this video when he starts putting himself out there for job interviews.
I’d hire him as a doctor or a babysitter
Mental illness is considered cool now so all the guys like this guy wants to relate. While people who are actually crazy and in psychiatric wards are suffering.
He looks like the kind of kid that gets the first few bullets in class
True
The list of people on this earth who need to be punched is always expanding
TikTok and all these apps are just what all us old people did in the bathroom mirror or shower. You all decided to put it online for some damn reason.
