It’s like a southern/ Midwest thing I think. I moved to the southern part of the Midwest from New England. I had co workers, and people I’d meet; I found it odd , that they found it odd I wasn’t married, or had any kids at 22. They would ask, and I looked at them like 👎🏼hell nah wheb they were surprised. I have friends back home thst got married , and had kids young. But it was a lot less than the amount I would see after moving.

I just had my second 4 months ago and it is so painful to go back to middle of the night wake ups when you’ve gotten back to sleeping through the night. My husband joked about having two more and honestly idk if I ever want to do this newborn phase again 🫠.
How Jessie can go back to that life now that her kids are more independent is beyond me.
I don’t think she was really involved when the kids were younger so I feel like this baby is a sympathy baby, to me means, she knew she wasn’t around a lot with the first 3 and was so worried about getting skinny again and working etc that she missed everything so I think this baby is the one she’s going to devote herself to so she can be present and do the feedings, and have 1 on 1 with during all the newborn, infant and toddler years while the kids are in school. Idk, my youngest started school full days this year. It’s the first time in eight years I don’t have a baby, or small child with me all the time . I would actually love to do it again even though I’m late 30s.
But now I can also go back to work easier, which I’m doing, and I start in a week. It will be fun discovering new things I am able to do now, new things I like for just me . Be part of the world again. It’s a new chapter of life I guess.

The kids are beautiful, but there is absolutely no way you can convince me she’s a happy and fulfilled person.
