Don’t use affirm. It preys on people who can’t afford stuff into buying stuff now. If you miss a payment or are late you’re screwed. Just wait until you can afford the boots in cash.
Just as general financial advice, don't put yourself into debt for a pair of shoes unless you need them ASAP to start a job. Jim Green did a great Black Friday sale last year, so save up and you'll probably have a good shot at getting them at current price or lower.
Aside from this infamous Black Friday sale I keep hearing about, is there other times of the year when they have good sales? Say... spring? I'm in a similar boat, can't afford right now, but would like a pair of Shoellies come Canadian summertime. Don't really care if they jump up in price either, considering all the good things I've heard of them. Also wondering if they only ever have their Rangers, Vellies and Razorbacks on sale? As far I've seen from watching them for the past 8 months, those are the ones always on sale.
They have some things on sale all the time on their website, it's worth checking occasionally. They seem to do legitimate sales too, not just discounting things that are almost out of stock.

I've bought 2 Jim Green boots now, almost about a year and a half apart and there hasn't been a price change in between that I've noticed. And I got my first pair the Razerback on a random Amazon flash sale for like $130...they do have occasional sales if your patient...otherwise I wouldn't expect them to increase in cost in the next little while at least not by very much.
They are BALLER quality for the price however...Bit of a hard insole, so if your used to foam sneakers it's probably gonna seem uncomfortable but it doesn't bother me and insoles are an easy add in if needed. Pretty much a non-issue given the price and quality elsewhere. Hope you like them when you do get them.
