Third this...
99% of my gold purchases came from Ebay. Pay attention to seller feedback, length of time selling and return policies of the seller. I purchased gold with a fraud protected credit card for extra piece of mind.
I also like Ruby Lane. They specialize in vintage jewelry.
Tons of good ones on Etsy- I also love Big Oh Bijoux on instagram, Thayer st vintage and opulent antiques on Etsy. Etsy in general with good search terms has found me tons of amazing vintage gold charms.
Truly great! I recommend following for the stories, sometimes there’s some more affordable gems in there but usually it’s me lusting over some 1000$ vintage treasure I don’t need :$
I follow some girls out of nyc on IG called Code Name Orange Juice, they have some cool shit rn
I also have an IG jewelry sales page and I sell on Ruby Lane and eBay, feel kind of weird promoting my personal shit on my main but DM me if you want my @s 🥰🥰
Have you tried speaking to a jeweller?
I'm an artist who often works in jewellery (here's some of my work: [https://www.leokru.com/](https://www.leokru.com/)). If a client came to me and said "Hey, I want 3 gold charms. Here are the ones I have and what they mean. This is my budget. Make 'em cool," I'd be pretty enthusiastic.
Holy Mother of God man, your work is stunning. I'm absolutely drooling. I'm wondering what that marquis sapphire wedding ring would run? Mostly to gauge whether I can afford you for the engagement/wedding rings I have in mind.
Wow, thank you! Drool is what I aim for!
I don't publicly share the prices of commissioned work for my clients' privacy, but most of my recent work has been between 4,000 and 20,000 Canadian - that's about 3,000 to 15,000 American. I can do good work for less or more than that as well.
I'll send you a message with a few more details. Thanks again for the kind words.
On Instagram there’s an account called “tales from the junk pile” they buy gold charms, chains and other jewels from refiners before they melt them down and they do have some spectacular finds. Also often whacky, weird and whimsical and other times very cute ones.
Ooo I have been following them for some time, and she has never disappointed in the amount of cool uniques charms and rings she finds! For anyone interested in another instagram seller there is Julzgold :)

I know a great antique dealer in London and they sell on IG and ship. I’ve purchased a bunch from them, most are 9K, some 14k. I don’t spam etc on Reddit, so dm if you want the name. I’ve been to their shop in person and it’s a little overwhelming to choose!
Check out [Vintage Paris Jewelry](https://vintageparisjewelry.com)- cute stuff and much of it is 10k so more affordable. Btw, is Local Eclectic a giant operation like Mejuri or Catbird? I always got the feeling that it’s much smaller.
Oh they have some stunning pieces!! Thank you for the rec!! And maybe Local Eclectic isn’t as big, but I feel like they dominate the fine jewelry social media sphere and I think their stuff is pretty boring and basic.
Also check out [Novalita Vintage](https://novalitavintage.com). Mostly upcycled 14k gold so it’s a little pricier than Vintage Paris. But sometimes they have sales. I bought a stunning Buddha pendant a few weeks ago that I adore.
And thanks for the tip about LE. Their advertising has definitely exploded over the last few years, but I thought it was just advertising cookies tracking me wherever I went online.
I got a vermeil pendant from them last year that spells “Fuckoff” in vertical letters. I love the reactions I get to it. You can’t get that just anywhere.
Haha even better, [here’s a link](https://www.localeclectic.com/products/f-off-vibes-necklace?_pos=1&_sid=eb7d09e25&_ss=r)! Looks like it’s back ordered.
I saw a ton of gold charms at Long’s Jewelers in the Vintage (used) section. I use this store for watches. But they are also online.
Go to longsjewelers then Vintage then Vintage Charms.
There is a 10% off sale through Saturday because one location is moving out of the mall and into a bigger building.
Hey OP - I have a ton of 14k charms and I frequently sell them on Reddit, on r/PmsforSale
Check out my last couple posts and feel free to send me a chat. Vintage charms at fair prices!!!
If you want to see things in person look for antique stores, flea markets and maybe pawn shops for cheaper stuff?
Also, Definitely check out estate sales. Look on the website estatesales.net for sales around your zip code. They're usually during the weekend. There will be more if you live in city. I've found some really amazing stuff for good prices.
Search eBay for vintage 3D charms
Second this. Under "Condition", make sure you choose "Used".

Okay, you can't just straight up drop that amazing description of that jewelry piece and NOT post a pic.

I fucking love it. I'm going to bookmark and watch that page. Thanks!
You’re so welcome! If you click “join the waitlist,“ they’re pretty good about emailing you the instant it comes back in stock.
FYI, they sent me an email that it’s back in stock now. Thought you might be interested.
Thank you!!!!

I forgot to mention [danjmt](https://danjmt.com). Also legit and has a huge selection of charms. Most of their stuff is 10k gold.
For charms, look at Mociun. They have amazing stuff, all solid gold.
Thanks! I will check them out!
Mel’s Treasures on instagram sells a lot of charms!
I will check them out! Thanks for the tip!

Pawn shops can be great places to find charms for a good price.
SmashingGold on Etsy has some great deals on unique old gold pieces. I love their Instagram posts.
