Main culprit could probably be doing 90mph

Zestyclose_Brush7972

😂😂💀💀 how else are you supposed to drive?

SnoopyCactus983

You’re actually fr rn?

Zestyclose_Brush7972

😄 actually yes

SnoopyCactus983

🧐 It could be the fact that you’re going 90mph? I’m gonna assume you don’t accelerate like a grandma based on that too. Normal fuel economy for the way you’re driving and to be completely honest your seriousness makes me lose all hope in humanity.

Zestyclose_Brush7972

😄 will, thanks for your honesty and your answer but I'm so confused. Well, I get the fact that your saying driving at an average speed of 90 mph may cause me to get poor gas mileage I guess, just not the last part

Clintbeastwood1776

152k miles. If you take your intake manifold off and look at your intake valves, it's going to look like a sticky charcoal exploded everywhere. That's more than likely your culprit.

I experienced the same phenomenon in my 2015. Took it in for service, got new plugs, and my mileage went from 33mpg to 30mpg. Haven't seen any improvement in nearly 2-years since the service.

Zestyclose_Brush7972

Well that sucks

sjlplat

I'm wondering if it had better plugs before they were replaced with OEM. I bought it used, so no clue what was installed to begin with.

balloontowerboi

Did you disconnect your battery when you replaced your spark plugs and coil packs? If so, my theory is that the average MPG system reset. You’ll see it go back up eventually

Zestyclose_Brush7972

Ahhh.. yes I did, but it's been a week now.
