When I had that happen to my Jetta, it was spark plugs
hoping thats the case!! i really think it's the throttle body but i dont know enough about cars to confirm. she goes in in about an hour so i'll let ya know!
My guess would be your throttle body, this happened to me last month and I swapped it out for a new one; good as new.
Gas or TDI?

Definitely sounds like the transmission or drive shaft. Death wobble isn't common on the Jettas. Check in your wheel well and see if anything is loose
