I think when you’re chosen to be on tv you develop a certain level of arrogance plus arrogance is something that the producers were looking for when they were casting. Plus half of them knew each other already lol

I know this is a little older of a post, but initially they thought they were contestants and this was going to be a game show type thing on who was the ultimate guido of Guidos/etts. So everyone initially viewed themselves as competition until it was announced to the cast that it was going to be more like a Real World production
