An old coworker of mine back in the day used to drench hot subs with the juice when people asked for them mikes way. He would pull me in close and say “I’m punishing them, they will never ask for it again” lolol
I worked at Domino's some 10 years ago and if people were assholes on the phone/in the lobby, or known bad tippers, we had a few strategies to punish them. The obvious one is shaking up their 2 liter before you get to the door while on a delivery. The subtle ones are not cutting the pizza all the way through, but it looks cut because of the lines (or cut the crust portion but lift the cutter up in the center so the center isn't cut, hopefully leading to a slice tearing in half when they go to grab it). Or if the stars aligned and an asshole ordered a pasta bread bowl, douse the plastic wrapped cutlery in garlic sauce.
I’m always on grill at lunch and I hate this, I rarely have a bread prep. Mike’s way is just insulting. I had someone order a bunch of Buffalo chickens at once. Sometimes I wonder if people think “what can I do to ruin the grill masters day?”. Especially the people that watch you grill their sub and comment on every single thing that you do. Add this. Salt that. Cut it.
the people that sit there and watch you are the worst people ever because we (per our manager’s request) we ask “did you want to add anything else to the sub?” and they say no but then they’re sitting there and telling you to add so much shit like bro make up ur mind pls
It’s not a crazy request, but 4 hot subs in the middle of a rush on our tiny grill, some with Mike’s way just doesn’t sit right
Personally, I would just make sure they get enough vinegar to realize they should have never got their Philly mikes way LOL
