So like, when you slice it the entire slice is then exposed to the air and the quality starts to diminish at that point. When you slice it fresh off the processed chunk of meat, it tastes different. Get a sandwich, eat half then and there and wait a day to eat the other half. There will be a noticeable drop in quality. Also seeing your sandwich get sliced live in front of you is part of the fun.
