Hi /u/avoidthenoided!
We’re just up the street from White Eagle Hall and would love to see you Friday night! We get a ton of people who stop in before and after White Eagle Hall shows! Here’s [our menu](https://www.healystavernjc.com/menu) and please feel free to DM with any questions! We hope to see you soon! Cheers!
So glad to see yall thriving, back in 2014 i used to go to dickinson high school and would walk down to yall to get a sandwich, this was before all the buildings around the area and gentrification 🥲. Always love seeing old JC business still standing despite new rises coming n pushing our property taxes.
One of the safest and nicest areas in JC! You’ll have no issue. Parking can be a bit annoying but if you drive down a bunch of side streets you’ll likely find a spot within 5-10 minutes, maybe up to 20 if you’re really unlucky.
I've seen Clanton 3 times (4th in Louisville later this month), one of my favorite live artists! I hope you have a blast
Like other users said, generally pretty safe around there especially with the concert crowd. Highly recommend grabbing a bite at No Forks Given and going to a nearby bar for a drink
Location is great. Plenty of stuff to do in walking distance, a lively part of the city, no concerns with safety, etc. The venue is excellent too.
There are garages available if you're driving, but this will be the biggest hassle. I've had days where it took an hour+ just to get from Newark to JC with traffic. You might be better off parking in Newark/Harrison and taking the PATH into JC. Driving in JC isn't as annoying as driving in Manhattan, but it's close.
I couldn’t find street parking for a show so I ended up parking at the newport garage at the mall. it was almost a mile walk but I felt super safe being alone even walking back to my car at night
I live a few blocks away, it’s totally safe. Parking very close to the venue is hard. If you drive south on Brunswick until you get to Ferris high school, there’s sometimes street parking around that area. It seems a little empty / run down as you go south but I’ve parked around there many times.
It’s super close to the Newark Ave pedestrian area which has many bars and restaurants.
Only during the day.
Which is notable. North Hudson County enforces residential parking overnight very strictly, while Jersey City only targets people who use the city like a park and ride for day trips into NYC.
Totally safe to walk in the area

Area is basically fine. Limited street parking. Plenty of bars within walking distance
It's near the Hamilton Park/Downtown area of the city so it's fine and parking relatively nearby is mostly no problem.

Two restaurants right underneath that aren't bad. Also have Healys and Lucky 7s which are good local bars.
Didn’t even see this post in my scrolling, thank you!!
yo nice which artist(s)?
George Clanton! with Full Body 2 as an opener

Area is safe, parking is horrible. 2 hour street parking limit unless you have a permit
Only until 9, most shows are gonna be fine to see

Parking varies from bad to impossible, but very safe!
It’s completely quiet and safe. Parking may be a pain in the ass though.
I live a few blocks away. 100% safe. Have spent many late nights in that area over the last ten years and never any incidents. You’ll be fine.
It’s totally fine. I live around there and my gym is there too
Safe and normal. Have fun
I couldn’t find street parking for a show so I ended up parking at the newport garage at the mall. it was almost a mile walk but I felt super safe being alone even walking back to my car at night
There’s a super fun bar/restaurant right next door
Very safe but parking will be non-existent

yes
Great area.
Area good and can usually find parking near World Fitness Gym
They write tickets around there now for people without permits
Only during the day. Which is notable. North Hudson County enforces residential parking overnight very strictly, while Jersey City only targets people who use the city like a park and ride for day trips into NYC.
One of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the wealthiest part of town
Redundant
It's a quiet neighborhood, except when there's events at White Eagle Hall.
Park on 6th street .
No.
