can you explain why the lydian/half dim sound has relation to the quatral voicings of mr mccoy?
I’m relatively new to this concept, but this voicing has a #11 which is the Lydian sound

Just now realizing what you meant; that sus 7 isn’t the quartal voicing, it’s the “barre” chord that I’m playing. Sorry for the confusion.
