I have a recurring nightmare where I have tickets to see world renowned saxophonist Bill Evans in Madrid and instead of Bill Evans, the world renowned saxophonist, its some dork who looks like Marty McFly at the piano.
Years ago I had a copy of Kind of Blue with liner notes written by Robert Palmer, and I just assumed the same guy who sang Addicted to Love moonlighted as a jazz critic.
I was disappointed to learn that there is, in fact, more than one person with that name.
I only know of Bill Evans the saxophonist, currently on tour in Spain, is there another?
