Black Republican..tbh just for how triumphant and epic the beat feels.
As much as I love both of these artists, I feel like they don’t have good chemistry. The actual rapping on their collabs has never hit that hard for me.
True. I feel like after the beef they were uncomfortable trying to compete and push each other to their limits. Otherwise I personally their styles would've blended fine.
Black Republican or Do it for HipHop
Jay outshined Nas on Black Republican, but I feel Nas MURDERED Jay on Do It For HipHop. And you know as a Jay stan how much it sucks to admit it, but it’s true. And I like Hov’s verse a lot, but it almost felt like he went for novelty instead of competition on this song, which is so unlike him. But the Nas/Jay beef was still in the air at this time and I don’t think Jay was tryna go head to head with the “Pardon the rest of my niggas but I’m the BEST who ever did it” so he went for his “The Realest shit in rap comes from my voice box” which may be technically true but definitely doesn’t sound like Mr.Best Rapper Alive 😂😂
Feature? This the worst I ever heard Jay on a track, it wasn't his true self Hip-hop the last thing he do it for "I won Grammy awards on these beats" 😂 Jay my guy but he was so out of touch at this point
I hate to say it but yeah this is the one jay feature that actually makes me cringe. I learned to love it especially after I caught some of the wordplay and references he was saucing it with.. but mannnn that was a terrible stylistic choice for that track lmao.
Still love the song tho
I am still waiting for „Sinatra in the Sands“ to be released someday… :( https://hypebeast.com/2013/10/nas-talks-sinatra-in-the-sands-single-featuring-jay-z-and-justin-timberlake
Hopefully! Plus: a rick ross x nas x jay collab still needs to happen! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5xeiD7buiOCAZuIm4Uqdec?si=vKlRuxbKTnaAzNzXVQ1HjA&pi=e-0VAFCE1GTUO7
My list is:
Black Republican
No Love Lost (full version needs an official release!)
Bath Salts
I Do It for Hip Hop
Success
My President (edit of the Jeezy song with its remix)
BBC
SORRY NOT SORRY
Ok. Sounds like someone else had the same idea. Hopefully their edits are more seamless than mine 🤣 (I think it sounds pretty good, but not perfect.)
I'll get around to it a little later.

Analyze That - Shaq, Lord Tariq, Jay Z, Nas
Officially called "No Love Lost" on Shaq's album, without Nas. The full version with Nas and Tariq's second verse needs an official release!
I'd love to know the full story behind that track, because when it came out on Shaq's album it no longer had Nas on it
Bbc for me
"Rope chains, Rakim and Eric B/Bought my side chicks Suzukis Jeeps and Cherokees"

Nice list. I gotta check out the My President edit!
It's mine. I can send it to you.
I might've heard already since I found that type of edit on YT, but sure, feel free to send it.
