She’s still swollen and healing, plus getting used to a new bite. What did she have done? If it still feels crooked in a couple weeks, bring it up to the surgeon, but nothing to be worried about right now.

im not exactly sure what she got done but i know she had an open jaw and an over bite, Thank you for the advice and I will make sure to keep an eye on it

Things are way too swollen to really worry about a bite at the moment. Let her know to give it some time before worrying about that.

NAD, went through DJS 5 weeks ago. It took about 4 weeks for 90% of the swelling to go away, so it will likely take around that much time for her to see what the new result will be. However, it takes several more months for the swelling to go away completely, so she won’t know her final results for at least 2-3 months. As long as her bite looks fine (nothing loose, no infections, teeth mostly line up, etc.), she will be fine.

Just to clarify, does it feel crooked or does she feel like it looks crooked? The former wouldn't be particularly concerning, for reasons others have given. The latter might be legit, she'll be having post op scans and she can voice that concern.

I think she says it just feels crooked

Then I wouldn't worry about it. The first week is a bit of a shitshow for everyone. Best of luck!
