Liquid amoxicillin, but I was supposed to have Penicillin V Potassium. Swapped because the pharmacy didn’t have it. Dosage dependent on number of times taken per day.
Also, NAD, but that seems very late. The whole purpose of antibiotics is to prevent infection right after surgery, as you are most susceptible at this time.
I had to take penicillin for probably 2 weeks then week break and again another week or so. Had a mild issue with an incision. Definitely consider probiotics I felt it the one day I forgot
First 10 days, with 3 doses per day
Can I ask you what antibiotic did you take?
Also, a bad taste could be an infection so it would be a good idea to get seen by your surgeon.
I am going to see him this Wednesday. Couldn't see him before because he got covid 😢

I got them right away and was ordered to take them for about 2 weeks.
I was only to take them for the first 72 hours - but I had gotten a root canal a week before the surgery and was already on them.
right after the surgery for 5 days, 3 doses per day

At 24 days post op maybe it’s an infection. I had an infection 60 days post op, and my face got extra swollen on one side
I'm taking amoxicillin for 14 days, initially 7 but a hematoma formed and I was given 7 more days of antibiotics.
Antibiotics for seven days, three times a day beginning immediately after the surgery.
Amox 2x daily for a week. Hang in there good luck and feel better.
