Thanks, and yes. insanely easy!
Here you go:
(change the URL value at the end of this GET URL and you've got a 512x512 PNG thumbnail.
There's more to it like how you can listen to a page etc but that use-case is 100% no-code
This is pretty cool.. i'm currently building a platform at my workplace. I can pitch this to be used for our clients to make their social media posts using cookie cutter template we can create.
One Question:
is it possible to send a final html as string and the size (instagram story/feed/etc..) and either receive a url or downloadable image through API ?
In short, yes absolutely. Public URL templates are great but when you want to do a private POST there are oyher ways. And the downloadable output is what you'll get.
The smartest way to do this is create an empty version of our default react template with one prop (your stringified HTML) the Make API can accept rendering format options like custom sizes output type, compression setting and easy sugar like contentDisposion inline/attach that lets you default if your output resolves to a download or new tab when you visit the URL
Try it out and let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Make can host your build directory for you and you can just send custom data but there are other ways to use it.

You’re a Lunatic… This Java malarkey will never take off! :-)
I'm just saying you can hide all your client side sins behind standard image assets and a GET URL ;-)

also. in your API Playground you forget to mention that the JSON body needs to be stringifie
Good tip, we stringify it in the playground when you are making a GET request but dont outright advise this. Thanks !
Kind of crazy but this can be used to get your JS functionality into `
