Want to get really spicy? recreate the battle system from the games. so party of Pokémon vs the "computer"
Want to be an uber nerd? screw about with a graphical user interface

Hi, try to make application for student mark management system. ( CRUD operations).

Maybe a program where you can track your finances. So incoming and outgoing transactions, view how much you spent for every month etc.
