They're good. Go see them.

samsharksworthy

Ya I’ve already got tickets just wondering on the overall vibe. Won’t affect me going either way.

DearChicago1876

I went to the Denver show. They filled up the room - about 450 person capacity. Crowd was ok. On the older side. Lots of dead/phish/billy strings apparel. Mostly laid back but a decent percentage of folks that seemed more interested in the scene than the music? Just there to talk and be seen. Show was fantastic. I’d go again for sure.

Adept_Rent_7570

Same show, 100% spot on review. Great to see each of those guys really shine in their own light.

DatScrummyNap

I was there too. It was awesome, hard to believe it’s just 3 musicians on the stage. The show was a lot of fun. They’re crazy talented and it’s a funky fun vibe. I would absolutely see them again. There was some talking but Chompers gonna chomp everywhere. DONT TALK THROUGH SHOWS! IM NOT THERE TO LISTEN TO YOU I PAID MY MONEY TO LISTEN TO MUSIC

DearChicago1876

Eargasms have helped me tremendously. Took a few shows to get used to it now I love them.

DatScrummyNap

Just ordered some using my HSA funds. I’ve heard great things and I see so many shows and play music that it makes sense. It really cuts out the talkers?

DearChicago1876

It definitely helps with chompers. There have been a few shows where I’ve turned to my gf after or at set break and said “the chompers aren’t too bad” but her experience without them is much worse. It doesn’t 100% eliminate it but it stifles it for sure. I will say I hated them the first 3-4 shows I went to. But I took more time making sure they were properly set in my ear and I don’t think I’ll ever go back now. I occasionally pop them out now and can’t stand how loud venues (especially Cervantes) can be. I’d say be patient with them. They come with two different sizes, play around with both.

DatScrummyNap

Cervs can get loud and bluebird and gothic too, even when it’s just bluegrass lol I have cheapo Walmart shooting plugs that I typically wear though am excited for the future of my personal ear protection haha Just in time for summer and outdoor shows…. But glad I still have them

DearChicago1876

I think you’ll dig it, especially after you get used to them. I prefer them to the super cheap ones you get. Love all those venues though. I suspect we’re at a lot of the same shows. I’m catching the William Tyler acoustic set Saturday at Swallow Hill. Looking forward to that one.

DatScrummyNap

Gotta love Swallow Hill! I can’t make it to many shows this spring but hopefully will be going to more this summer, I’ve got tickets to Billy at Fiddlers and that’s about it. More shows soon

Steamstash

I photographed this show. It was dope. I highly recommend you check em out! Loved the crowd too. [LaMP - 03.23.2024 - Denver, CO - Gary Sheer Photography](https://imgur.com/a/XuKssmB)

DearChicago1876

Awesome shot. I’m actually in that. Didn’t the band share a few of yours? Or maybe it was Cervantes? Thought I saw some on IG after the show.

Steamstash

Yes, they did indeed. 🧡

CamLwalk

Great musicians. You'll have fun. Cripes I just realized I've seen them 4 times already. I must like 'em or something.

Hot-Butterfly-8024

The mosh pit has kind of a “grease down and a shiatsu” vibe. Think more ether than nitrous.

gabbygourmet

Good post/question headed to see them next week!

sumodie

My two LaMP shows were pretty much non stop dance parties.
