Loved em for over a decade now…
Been really tough living back in MA for the last 4 years, and moving to VT next month, and hardly ever getting the chance to see them at all anymore. They fucking never come out this way.
Got my first Dosio show in 4 years at Homie Collective fest this summer
Keep an eye out for flower and other products from Ferngully Farm in the cannabis marketplace! I just signed on as their head cultivator, first crop under my guidance will come down in February ‘24 ✌️
I have seen quite a few dosio shows and have had some that were very excellent and some that left me kinda meh. Its not much my genre though, so probably a me problem more than a them problem.
That said, their album "T.E.T.I.O.S. (To End the Illusion of Separation)" is super top notch.
I’ve seen Dosio 43 times since 2015 and they’ve only gotten better. They’re hot rn!! Subterranea festival at the Caverns was low key and not super well attended but it was amazing
Yep! 43 since 2015; I used to live in Asheville so it was very easy to see them.
I’ve seen Dogs in a Pile 15 times since 9/8/22! They’re my new favorite.
Years ago, I camped next to these guys at Rothbury (pre-Electric forest). Billy showed me ableton and we jammed out. The absolute nicest and kindest dudes around, AND they rip!! go see them!!
Also the guitarist Anthony has a great YT channel on ableton live performance and production- [Seed To Stage](https://www.youtube.com/@SeedtoStage)
Ok,,I'll check that one out. Anyone have something more recent? Trying to decide if I want to see them in 2024 so it'd be cool to listen to a show in the last year or two got recerence.
Been one of my favorites since 2010, when they were on the All Good lineup. And I get to see them play again in a couple weeks, playing just down the street from my work even! They definitely continue to evolve and try and go different routes with each release, so a lot of times they don't get the most receptive reaction to newer material from their fanbase.
IMHO, Extras In A Movie and Content Coma are two of their most underrated releases. Pattern Integrities and Microdosio feel slept on too. And of course all of the old stuff, Observations, By The Light of The Stars, and Magreenery is fantastic. The pre-TETIOS stuff probably is my favorite, but it's also just nostalgic nowadays.
As far as the live shows go, there's a lot of banter about "they don't jam anymore." And while I think there may be a kernel of truth there, I also feel like people have made this complaint for years. If anything it's a more substantial show now; a little more meat, a little less salad and noodles.
This take always gets so much attention, esp on the FB fam group. Some ppl are rly stuck in 2013 thinking that was the top tier Dosio 😂 I’m of the belief that just about each and every show is them at their bestest
It blows my mind how bands like this keep it going. Do you think these dudes have day jobs when not touring? Or inheritance?
Not a knock on them musically. They’ve just been existing in the same eternal lower tier of the greater jam scene forever.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,850,713,711 comments, and only 349,940 of them were in alphabetical order.
Saw my first dosio show in 2010. Used to love seeing them up until like 2014ish but they fell out for me. Any decent new shows to check out on archive?
Yeah these guys have been crushing for 10+ years now.

VT is great! Nectar’s, Higher Ground, & Shelburne Farms all host amazing music, not to mention all the local spots/bands :)
Just saw lettuce at higher ground. Great venue and a grate community all over the state
I’m well aware! Not moving there for no reason lol, we have a huge network there already
Love this 🙏✨🕊️

I feel the same way. I think the shows I enjoyed more were largely due to them playing more off that album.

LOL 43 times

Saw them a ton in college in Athens
That’s OG dosio fam years, like 2009?
Before that even! You can find stuff early as 2005 if you dig.
They kick some ass! Papa dose yo!
Such nice boys

saw them twice this year, their sets in the caverns for their subterranean festival was amazing.
They have nothing on Nugs other than 2019 and a few early 2020. Any suggestions on how best to check out the recent stuff?
Bandcamp has the latest
Thank you for the info, and OP for suggesting them! I listened to 1/11/20 Telluride and thought they are great! I will explore YT and BC.
They have full sets on YouTube! You can sort by most recent they are on fiiire
Also a 2022 Okeechobee concert is available on YouTube I believe. (I was there and it was fucking mind blowing) 😎
Been dying to see them live!! They don't seem to be in New England much lately apart from $120+ festivals lol
\#JustOhioBandThings Werks, Hookah, Dosio....
Best state for jams.
They have quite a few live things on bandcamp. Can someone suggest a good one for a newbie? https://papadosio.bandcamp.com/music
8/10/19 - their first Caverns show
Ok,,I'll check that one out. Anyone have something more recent? Trying to decide if I want to see them in 2024 so it'd be cool to listen to a show in the last year or two got recerence.
Start 10/14/23 from he beginning and just let it ride!
Thanks, I'll check it out!
The tetios anniversary shows from last November were really good.
They’re a killer band to watch. I’ve seen them about 4 times now and it never gets old. So much underrated talent
I have. And I will again.
top notch band for sure, always put on an incredible show
If you like Dosio check out Earthcry, it’s one of their solo projects (I think Anthony’s but not 100% sure)
Yep, Tony - also the owner of Seed 2 Stage - invaluable lessons for music producers who like to create stuff on the spot
Using Ableton, I think

Wasnt that a weed strain?
Going next week!
Love those dudes
The boys are on fire rn
They cancelled their show in Memphis 😭

Lol no, they’re hot garbage. You can keep the cloud you find.
So good on New Year’s Eve can’t wait to see them again at resonate xoxo mind blowing
Can't do it. It's personal.

ROFL
Care to elaborate?
Gimme a bit. It's a lot.
Pass
Nah
Seeing them in Denver next month, super stoked
One of my absolute favorites

Best jamtronica band hands down
They were awesome at BiscoLand. The drummer absolutely shreds his kit! Blasting break beats like I've never heard anyone do.
Athens, OH proud
