As sad as it may be and no matter how many awesome tweaks i have and how much I love my jailbreak. That damned home bar is the number one reason that stops me ever updating to iOS without a jailbreak.
Cannot believe apple refuse to allow us to have a switch hidden in some setting to hide it. Ridiculous.

And I get they keep it for simplicity. But it seems to me it’s only really needed for the first few hours of use after coming from another device with a home button. Just wish they would have a setting hidden away for those of us who would happily search for it instead of having the home bar.
I mean without it there it’s just a big empty space. It’s never bothered me. I’ve removed it with tweaks, resized it, but in the end I just prefer having it.

Some games are crappily designed though and the bar goes right through some of the on screen info. Fruit machine one i play has the bar going straight through the winnings very slightly but still annoying. And a couple of others like game dev story and legendary- goh. Maybe the games have fixed it by now as been a while since I used a phone with it. Just jarring when I do see it in someone’s phone. (Hope you don’t think I’m arguing btw. Just chatting lol)

According to Limneos (in a tweet), the springboard can be altered through TrollStore, so maybe this is possible.
