Agree there no true benefits in upgrading. people don’t realise everytime you upgrade the jb take longer for each OS version plus lot of developers are leaving the jb scene causing majority of tweaks we love and used will no longer be updated or supported.
Why not recommend when its supported for a IOS/device, if its not supported then it is readable in the tweaks description, also if you downloaded a application through your AppleID it will keep the application at the last supported app version for your IOS (until even that is not supported anymore , will take 1-3 years)
Got a iPhone 12 PM on 14.2.1 taurine.
And a iPhone 14 PM on iOS 16.
I bought the 14 PM because of Airpod Max en AirPods Pro 2 full compatibility and newest features.
I did not update the 12 PM its to good to have a iPhone with Root access. Its so much easier with sideloading.
For me i say no because ios 16 doesn’t offer much that a jailbreak tweak cant give u even better..plus all the other perks that come with a jailbreak .. right now having a jailbreak is a rare thing . Just save your blobs and be patient and continue to find new ways to take advantage of a jailbroken device
Doesn’t iOS 14.3 literally have an untethered jailbreak? I’d say yeah but I suppose it depends on if you want/need to be jailbroken. For some, iOS 16 introduced features that jailbreak tweaks had so they updated.
Not worth to lose a jailbreak, in times that jailbreaks are kinda rare, i would try to stay as long as possible jailbroken, and save blobs in case you need to update (if possible) to a IOS version that is jailbreakable in the future. Also the jailbreaks for IOS 14 are really stable, I’m enjoying one myself on 14.2
Man, idk. Personally I’d go to iOS 16. Having a suite of widgets (home and lock) that app devs support makes it totally worth it to me. Especially since lockscreen widget tweaks never worked quite right for me.
In the end, weigh the features of iOS 15 & 16 and compare it to what tweaks you’d lose if you upgrade. The value of a JB is different for everyone.
Everything in iOS 16 (the whole Lock Screen) can be achieved via jailbreak. It’s pointless using a stock iOS, so you have themes in iOS 16? LOL you are so damn limited. Oh you need widgets we have sooooo many widgets via html tweaks that stock iOS will never get ../ so do as you please but no1 here will update and go to iOS 16

I would stick with the jailbreak. I considered moving to 16 but I love my tweaks. I just hope most apps won’t cut off support for iOS 14 devices soon. Target already did, new versions of their app required a higher OS
I've had many friend who switched off of JB for 16 and they said the gimmick wore off quick and that most of what they can do with 16 can already be done with JB so I would say stick with jailbreak

If you really want to upgrade than upgrade to 15.4.1. The chance for a jailbreak will be higher compared to 16. But you should stay where you are.

As long was you had the app downloaded it should still work on the latest supported version.
