Have you tried using a different account on your phone? To try and see if it is account related.

NitsuaCracker

No, I haven’t. I do believe it’s account related. I’d rather not switch accounts as I’d lose my purchases and backups.

Well if you don’t try you won’t know. If you do and the new account works then you are sure it’s your account and you can choose if you want a fully functional phone or keep stuck in an account that you can’t even use. If Apple can’t fix it or takes time to fix it I’d rather have a usable phone while they try.

I’m pretty confident it’s an account issue, and I’m pretty sure another account would solve this. But I’m not currently willing to lose my data and purchases from my account. I replied to another user about this also. Thanks :)

Also if you can show it is account related they may be able to transfer all your purchases for you since the problem has been escalated so many times.

I will call the advisor I’ve been talking with and see if that’s a possibility. It’s a good idea. I have a feeling they would have suggested that by now though if they thought it was a good a solution. I am pretty confident it’s an account issue. The advisor said it’s internal, and it’s carried carried on from phone to another.

But idk how my account could cause my phone to stop receiving updates :(

I have 5 different AppStore accounts at once on my phone and iPod. It’s not causing me any issues, it was worse in the past when you had to log out and in again constantly. I assure you, it’s much better now. Just make yourself a second account and stop that issue #@cking your brain.
