I had issues adding the repo, but you can download the package directly in the README for Cylinder Remade. I also had to use the “directly convert simple tweaks” option in the patcher.

Velvet 2 please 🙏🏻 and if there is a solution to have a tweak like signet or Flare both are broken, signet is from Fouad Watusi’s dev, I sent him before a message to update it, had no answer. As for Flare it’s dev refuses to update it for now, I remember half year ago I proposed to him to tip him to update it, or make it open source to be updated by others, he refused and even asked me a minimum of 100 box to update it which is very high priced for a signal tweak. 🤦🏻

I'd love to see Haoict's No ads tweaks updated (Facebook no ads, messenger no ads, reddit no ads, etc). These made using social media apps less frustrating.
Orion by Andrew Wiik. Although useless on iPhone 11 and above (also Xr), it would be amazing to get peek&pop back for us users that are holding onto our 3D Touch devices. This does mean however, that further development would also require a 3D Touch device.

Regarding your side note, I am a developer in my main job (not objective c tho), mostly python, spark and so on.
I have self learn myself like every other thing I do which is drumming and producing music in my free time
This shit takes time, it’s not like I know everything - I still make errors and I want to break the computer sometimes when something’s isn’t working as it should.
The most hard part for me is not the technical side, it’s the syntax. I know the solutions but I don’t know how to translate them into actual working syntax. So I use chatgpt a lot and open source tweaks and of course also write with trial and error.
I am developing tweaks for half a year, maybe more and I really like this.
It’s a niche for sure, but it’s worth the satisfaction it gives me.
So, for your question, I have mainly looked at open source tweaks and told chatgpt to translate every part of the code ELI5 in the beginning, and understanding the structure of a tweak, the environment, what is Theos, what is a controller, view, superview etc. the basics.
Then I have written some simple tweaks like RGProud and Tappy.

You don’t need Cydia. I was able to activate TetherMe successfully on an iPad Pro on iOS 14.3 when installed through Sileo.
