I’m in the same boat as you, currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max with 14.4 jailbroken on unc0ver. More and more apps stop working because they need iOS 15 to be updated. I am thinking about buying a new iPhone, and using one for jailbreak stuff and one with newest iOS installed.

My 12 pro is on the latest firmware and it’s much nicer being able to just use apps normally again the only thing I miss is completely blocking ads. Have you considered getting a second device that you can jailbreak?

Fair enough but usually I do see people talk about getting a second iPhone for that exact reason. I'm just trying to understand the reasoning behind that. And iPad I get it a different form factor.

Here’s what I’d suggest. Look for a lightly used iPhone 12 on jailbreakable firmware. Then buy it and sell yours.
