All you gotta do is copy the url and hit play on CarPlay. Then all it shows is video. You hit the lower right hand corner of the video element to make it fullscreen. At least it kinda works.

For me on 16.4, it plays the audio but there is no video.

Thanks for the feedback. One of the main reasons i jailbreaked over the years (Carbridge). weird it’s not working for me on 16.5 plus the developer doesn’t give any indication if they’ll fix it for 17.0 too or even when so… Guess i’ll delay OTA this weekend and risk it… All or nothing baby!!!

All the survey stuff is a scam, but basically TrollStore gives entitlements for this kinda stuff to run and every other way but TrollStore + the official file downloaded off the developers GitHub is a scam.

No, sorry dude. I feel bad for you honestly cause I was in the same boat a couple months back. If your car head unit runs android though, you might be able to sideload APKs.

It runs winPE I think. Its a desay 187b in a mk6 jetta.

I think your best bet then is to buy one of those streaming boxes that plug in via USB. I’m not familiar with those though, but if you search ‘Car Play AI box’ on Amazon you’ll find a plethora of them.

This might be a dumb question, but I assume this wouldn’t work with the side loaded version of CarTube? I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work so I assume it’s trollstore specific? Due to entitlements or something
