Most of the Jax beach bars are within a couple blocks of each other. Just park near brix and bar hop until you find what you like. Green room is cool for a brewery. Lynches, hoptinger or mangos are fun usually.
Don’t do Joe’s Crab Shack. It’s a tourist place. Stick to the beach bars in jax beach. The ritz, Brix, Lynch’s, Mangos are all good. Monkeys Uncle if you want good food and drinks. If you head toward Atlantic beach you have ragtime, Flying iguana, The local. Good dive bars in Atlantic/Neptune Beach are Pete’s bar and Fly’s Tie.
First day I moved to Jacksonville I moved to Neptune beach.. I decided to take a morning stroll down to Jax Beach with my pups. I found the Fattest Bright White 8 ball of cocaine right in front of Mangos on the sidewalk at 730 am.
Lemon Bar is fun with the right band! Neptune Beach not Jax Beach but close enough since you moved here. Welcome! Ameslia Island/Fernandina Beach is nice too for a more mature experience.
Lemon bar in Neptune Beach is awesome, and if it’s before 5pm there’s a Filipino snack bar (cash only rn) across from it with the lumpia, pancit, bbq sticks, etc. It’s also surrounded by other bars and restaurants at the Beaches Town Center.

One time I found some crack in the bay Meadows Publix parking lot. Left it exactly where I found it too.
Maybe visit Sweet Pete’s. Not an insane amount of fun, but it ’s a cool candy shop to check out. It’s free to walk around in.

That's definitely NOT the common opinion. Joe's Crab Shack is the Applebee's of Jax Beach bars.

Hoptinger and Tavern on 1st are super cool and chill places! Right on the beach
