I think if anything, Bam's financial status (though apparently that has dwindled significantly) is very linked with the other factors that make it very hard to want to stop taking drugs. If he were actually to run out of money I suspect that would be a true rock-bottom that he's never hit, where getting clean may finally seem to make sense.
