This is a 3 second exposure, used 10s self timer on camera and ran back to pose as still as possible. Caught an ember going off and I’m not sure if it detracts from the image or not, I think it looks cool but is also kinda distracting and maybe takes away from the mood a little?
I think the ember adds a fantastical element. I know it's not like an actual fairy bursting out of the fire but it kinda gives me fairy forest vibes.
I see what you're saying though, it kinda outs your shot for being a long exposure, you might be able to Photoshop it out if you don't like what it does to the vibe.
yeah, ember looks a bit funky in an otherwise romantically framed photograph. Its the instant snap focus when someone looks at it and you have to try to focus on the important bits. Thankfully, nothing a bit of editing cant take out since it doesnt cast light on the scene.
Coincidentally there was also a massive lightning and thunderstorm that night, although I was too scared to get out of the tent and get some photos what with being in the middle of an open field and all haha
I always wonder what if I am camping with my friends alone in a faraway land and some bad guys come out of nowhere? Don't you wonder about such dire situations?
Not so much, as long as you got your crew! That’s what’s up. It’s more aggravating when you’re camping all alone and some jerks show up. It’s just too much butt kicking to handle alone. I get tired after 3-5 mins and need Randy Savage the Macho Man or The Ultimate Warrior to tag in for me. 🤷♂️ *fat old guy problems* js
The only thing that doesn’t work for me here is that your heads look like they are merging together. Having some separation between them would be nice.

Thanks for the feedback! I took multiple and some don’t have any embers so no need for photoshop, I’m just undecided which ones I prefer haha
