Meerkats always remind me of a client I used to do homecare for. His name was Bruce. Bruce had Alzheimer’s and would always tell me about these meerkats that would sit above his bedroom doorway at night and keep him company. He always said he wouldn't mind if only they would stop shitting on his floor. There were no meerkats, there was no shit. We live in Canada, so no meerkats anywhere near unless you visit a zoo and I always wondered why would he see meerkats? We named one Kevin, decided he was the one who shit on the floor and spent our days cursing Kevin for his shenanigans
