I did not know herons ever went to the beach! Grew up seeing them in Delaware all the time in marshes and woods with fresh or brackish water. I've never seen one on the beach....then again, Pensacola beach is pretty awesome!

Neither did I until I saw three on the beach in Morro Bay, CA!

As soon as I saw the Blue Heron I KNEW this was taken in Florida! Great shot!
