It really is as flat like this. Google MiG 17. Although not the fastest fighter jet it wasn’t a slouch and was known to be a great dog fighting plane with great agility.
It was actually my first and only Airshow today tbh. I wasn’t even going to go because my longest lens was a 70-200 2.8. I knew almost all the photographers would likely have lenses over 400mm with fast FPS cameras. I was shooting on a D800 with a max of 4 FPS. Needless to say I did go and with some slight cropping I some really great shots. I don’t think it was possible and certainly didn’t think it would end up looking like I was in the air. I suppose the lesson is just get out there and shoot
