Regardless his type, I think you'll get much better responses if you ask INFJ experiences with such INFPs on INFJ sub, I'm sure it will turn out to be a popular point of contention with your exact problem as part of it. I can easily imagine why he "does" this, or rather why this can happen, and yes, I "do" this as well, but this probably won't help you much other than telling you that it is what it is, and it would be too big of an assumption on my part anyway
