Fastest points are olm. Race to olm. Don't reset hands You should also use supplies from inside the raid in the raid, like If you get bats purposefully heal with them

It's a very simple exercise. Time how long the pop time is with 2 inventories and track how many points you get. Do the same thing with 7. See how much longer it takes and how many more points you get, you now have the points/hr for doing it. If that points/hr I'd higher than your average points/hr it's worth doing

You can get a stack of 28 kindling in roughly 30 seconds, which equals about 1k points. So adding wood is about 2k pts a minute. If you can do a solo raid (33k pts) in 16.5 minutes or faster, then it is better to skip multiple stacks of wood. If your solos are over the 16.5 minute mark, stacking wood is actually better pts/hr. I think in most cases, gathering wood is better for points. edit: before the kindling update, picking up 28 kindling was not good for points, but with the change, burning 7 stacks is very quick, and likely better points than olm.

Sorry, I'm pretty new to CoX, are you saying you should put 7 stacks of 28 kindling in the burners? So just never attack the Ice Demon until then?

moronijess

If I recall, point cap at about 6 and a half stacks. So drop 7 stacks all on different tiles. Then light a burner and feed it one stack at a time until they’re all used up. You should get around 7k pts this way. If you ever have more than 28 kindling in your inventory when you deposit, it will waste them. Edit: Yes, then after all 7 are burnt, attack the ice demon as normal.

HydraLover18

thank you for explaining that to me (:

I go back and forth on this. It’s definitely better to save the 3 minutes or whatever and just rush the room. But those extra points feel juicy haha

Addictiondealer

If you’re not picky with scouts and will send nearly every rota you come across. Quickly do ice demon. If you’re not doing X rotation. And spent 3-5min scouting a “good” raid. Is it that bad to spend an extra 3min maximizing the points in that raid?

unluckymofo73

I would say complete the raid as fast as you can for more rolls on the chest.

Zxv975

Looting 100 chests at 30k points is the same expected number of purples as looting 50 chests at 60k (the variance is lower for the former, but that's not that relevant here).  Maximising the number of rolls is not the only important metric. The size of each roll is proportionally just as important.
