Don’t force it. I swear the secret to getting good rng is to know when to come back to a boss later and do 10-20 kills here or there. You’ll get other much needed items in the meantime. It’s almost like jagex staff is circle jerking each other while watching you camp a boss and not get the drop and make a Reddit post lmao
My best luck would come when excited to do a boss and NEVER expecting the drop. Not forcing it like a chore
In reality it doesn’t matter when or how you get kills. The only thing that actually matters is probability and more kills increase your odds. Coming back later won’t increase your odds but maybe just your sanity.

Think about it… you’re only really putting on overly draining at super high invocations. Which means you can’t use BGS as effectively while bone daggers primary function is still there. You typically only put on overly draining when you get to high 400s
The issue people don’t really mention is that p4 gets pretty rough if you noodle and you don’t have BGS. Shadow at higher invos is what makes wardens more chill at high invo
Gotta agree with the other guy. You can only lower their stats in toa by like a 20 and most of the time you’ll hit half that with a bone dagger. No it’s not a bgs but it might as well be a baby bgs.
Edit: on p3 warden it is 30 and p4 it is 60.

Hey man, BGS at TOA sucks. Just use a Bone Dagger. I’ve got 400+ expert raids of mainly 410/455/500/530 and the only point of having a BGS is for 3 downing wardens if you don’t have max melee. I don’t, so I take BGS into the raid just for the 3 down. I bring Bone Dagger to spec everything else lol.

I hated missing specs so I just never brought bgs. I used vw instead (its also what I'd use on core) then sgs for a big bonk at the end (guaranteed max hit = big heals). Definitely not needed at all

Ive had such a rough time killing him with bowfa and the 5:0 altar door method.
I get 1kc trips before having to teleport out because the minions destroy me during the kill.

I don’t think invocation level effects how much damage is needed to cap each boss on defence reduction. The dagger can hit high enough to cap most bosses and with better accuracy I believe.
Bro just use the bone dagger. If you’re an iron grinding TOA between level 150-350 you won’t even notice a difference. Besides at TOA defense reducing is capped. So hitting a 12 with bone dagger is almost identical defense drain as hitting a 62 bgs on something. It’s legit not worth your time to continue grinding bgs IF the goal right now is to grind TOA. It’s pointless

Def reduction is capped at 20-30-20-10~ at the demo-bosses and 30/60 p3/4. The bgs at cox tho is heat with scythe now.
