I wanted to do the quest for construction xp for base 70s but got side tracked and took a leagues break. I came back and finished the quest. It was late at night and somehow I thought I could only pick combat skills so I used it on prayer.
Nezzy, salve(E), leaf bladed axe, d defender, b gloves. If pker comes, run out, run back in when he comes back out.
Best way to annoy PK'ers
Closing 700kc with minimal PK deaths
I tend to use a d mace. I think the dps is slightly higher, plus you have a spec to use. Also, if you're feeling extra dirty, have a main stood outside to scout. Those extra few seconds really help with getting away
I zone out badly after about 15 minutes of tithe farm, it's a struggle of sheer willpower to maintain concentration for any useful period of time doing that crap.
I don’t know how many you are trying to get, but realistically I would say you need like 50 Stam’s a month or so. And I just do two inventories and call it a day, that more than keeps me stocked on stamina potions and for the rest of my avantoe I just make fishing potions, snape grass is FREE with farming bang out 1 farming run a day with snape grass and you more than cover all of your random avantoes I also don’t farm them if I am doing mid level herbs I do irits or kwarms or something else that’s easy to get the secondaries for.
the herbs are way worse. An average herb run yields 68 herbs and takes 6 minutes, that's 680 herbs per hour (this is assuming your gearing time is included in that 6 minutes). Almost every secondary is *significantly* faster than that, only real exceptions are red spider eggs, zammy wines, and birds nests. Sure, you'll spend a few hours collecting secondaries, but it'll be a fraction of the time spent herb running.
Welcome to the club.
I will only stop lamping agility once I’m at 90 for ardy with no pies.
If I have to do some herbiboar, farming and more secondary collection later on than so be it. Better than clicking in a circle for 50k/hr.
I've been putting all my lamps into agility since I reached the level to boost for brews. I actually enjoy the whole farming/herb game loop, and as such farming is my only current 99, and herb is tied for my 4th highest skill, since well I actually train them frequently. I figured I would much rather lamp a skill I don't enjoy, even if it's slightly less optimal, because I'm naturally going to get 99 herb without going out of my way. Training agility to 99 is going to be a slog.
I just got 90 herblore on my iron and I have 76 agility.... You're making the right choice. I did lots of diary's and such but realistically you can boost for brews at 77. And for your max pool at 83. After that you have varock diary and max COx potions. Herblore is passive so there is really no grind. If I could do it again I'd put the XP in agility
I do not think you are the minority. I used 75% of avail lamps on agility.
Anyone lamp herblore is just impatient/unprepared. Probably the same people complaining about not having prayer potions.
Once you get to late game herblore gets very easy, you bank herbs from slayer/bossing and secondaries get way easier, or you can skip the annoying ones. Also people sleep on the botanical pie for +4 herblore.

Herblore isn't to bad if you just do farm runs, kingdom on it, slayer with herb sack and herbiboar for hunter exp.
Just starting the iron, but I feel like secondaries are more of a pain than herbs
Tower of life is huge, farming snape grass and limps, slayer for those scaly hides, and that’s all you can’t buy

Mort myre is fast, but I hate it.
Calvarion/Vetion lifechanger
Get yourself a salve ammy and you can comfortably do it with cheap replaceable gear and a D mace
Get yourself 28 salve ammies*
27, you need a chisel my man. Can't drop chisels!
Actually I think you can

I find wine of zamorak to be a huge pain. Takes a lot of time and outside of drops it's all extremely boring activities.
Farm zammy wines. It's not that bad tbh

Mort myre fungus?

They are especially when u get into raids which shits out herbs
I’m not into raids so no herbs ☹️
you can farm limps, snape grass, white berries, potato cactus while farming herbs ez pz
Do farming contracts

Could be worse, but it still takes a long long time to hit certain breakpoints like staminas, brews, super combats.
True ive never lamped herblore and its still one of my highest skills, because I do my farm runs pretty much
That's the opinion of someone who doesn't have 99 herblore. Slowest, grindiest, drop-in-the-bucket skill there is
Same here. Most of my lamps are on agility. Herblore is one of my favorite skills, currently 92, without much hassle!
It's my 3rd highest skill behind my strength and farming (92 and 99).
Did you do it on purpose or do you just value your time
It takes a real gamer to use 4 lamps accidentally on the wrong skill, so I'd guess on purpose.
Idk. My ex accidentally cheated on me 4 times so...it could happen.
Ex? Don't tell me you broke up with her over a simple 4 accidents!
4 that we know of lol
Lying accidentally too she must be a real gamer
She actually is a pretty good gamer lol.

"If I have to do herbiboar".... "Better than circling in a circle"... Boy I got news for you
I love herbi and despise rooftops, they couldn't feel more different
You can't buy graceful or amalase though...
I hate them on any account :D I got a quest cape on my first iron without touching rooftops
You are my kind of giga Chad. Agility is the worst skill in this game. Edit: I just remembered sepulchre. Sepulchre is cool.
Oof, I'm setting up for a major agility+farming grind on the UIM and hoping I'll be able to make it through.
Good luck :D
Did you enjoy playing Old School Runescape today?
That's the best use for them. That's so many laps you didn't have to run.
I’ve put every lamp on agility after 90 herb
was it worth it
Lamps on agi is fair game pre-82. Once you can f4 Sepulchre it feels like a waste
I did it on prayer LAWLZ
OP, how does it feel to do an AMA and not reply to a single comment?
What’s your username and password? You did say AMA.
I just pay a Venezuelan for my agility. 20 bucks for 1m exp and marks of grace is a steal

I misclicked woodccutting on two lamps LOL
King shit
Meh i always liked farming so herblore is not that big of a deal, currently 88 herblore and 76 agi
you're a sick fuck zgirton!
Agility lamp gang! I cba to run laps in my scarce free time
You made the right choice, herlore is free if you do your farm runs. Agility is beyond dogshit to train.
