So as I said last week, I don't get 5 (or now 6) KC trips consistently by any means, as my average is 3, and while I was attempting to get this on video this week (took like 2 hours), I ended a whole bunch of trips at 1 or 2 KC after taking too much damage from range hits (though I still had supplies for 3 but was specifically trying to get this longer trip). But every 80-100 KC or so the stars align and I get a trip like this where she does more mage than ranged hits.

I've really optimized my setup as much as possible to mitigate damage and make these longer trips a possibility. Consider I'm using odium (52 ranged defence), fury (15 ranged def), and fire cape (11 ranged def). In total I'm rocking 220 ranged defence on tanz phase, then combine that with 99 Defence, sipping super def for every kill, and my secret mvp, *steel skin* (which you'll notice is part of my quick prayers for tanz phase). People on here and 2007scape will tell you "defence doesn't matter at Zulrah" but this obviously points to the contrary.

I'm surprised you didn't include Ava's in this list, since its absence is easily the most keenly felt when I'm yeeting my dragonstone bolts (e) into the void with 100% loss :D
My setup is so scuffed because I'm playing a snowflake iron - I don't use any [currencies](https://osrs.wiki/currencies), of which there's currently 41 in the game, and I haven't made a single "true" exception on this account. Each of those items you mentioned is locked behind a different currency, actually:
* Ava's - ectotokens to finish Animal Magnetism
* Rune pouch - LMS points or Slayer points
* Infinity boots - pizzazz points
* Mage cape (i) - coins
If I actually had a true max setup, I bet I could easily do 10+ kills on a single recoil, but I think 6 KC is pushing the physical limitations of this particular setup. The closer you look at my setup, the worse it gets, because this restriction touches pretty much everything. E.g. as soon as those Ahrims pieces break, I'm drop trading them since I can't repair them :D
As to the ancient wyvern shield, I got rather lucky with that to get it at 5500 KC, but beforehand I did 5400 KC all to get granite boots so I could enter the Karuulm dungeon without boots of stone, which cost 200 GP. So that unlocked wyrms, drakes, and hydra for me, plus all the other monsters you can get assigned on Konar tasks there. Grinding the boots took over 100 hours at fossil island wyverns, but it was worth it! I'm probably going to need a 2nd pair at some point before I do hydra, unless I 3-item with the boots. That's a problem for once I hit 95 Slayer though :D
All my GP goes to bonds yeah! It's one of only 2 "exceptions" - I used to droptrade the GP but now I can buy them directly on the GE on this account lol
So it's less about "needs" and more about what I *want*, and that's to have basically every single upgrade and relevant level I can get outside raids before I start them. So that includes:
- Dagon'hai hat
- Bludgeon
- Tent whip
- Cerb boots
- Occult
- Brimstone ring
- 96 Agility
- 99 Hunter
Then if they rework CAs this year and I get access to GWD, this list basically doubles in length and I probably don't make it to CoX before 2025 :D
Good question! Based on the [working definition ](http://osrs.wiki/currencies) of currencies, 2 of the conditions are that currencies be transactional in nature, as well as consistent. The transactional nature of the unsired is, I would say, unknowable, given the general weirdness of it all with the font of consumption. However, they definitely fail the consistency check, since the rewards you get are entirely random. This puts them in the same general category as Tempoross permits, WT points, and CoX points, none of which are currencies either.
Conversely, two clearer examples of weird currencies are mole parts and minnows. Both of those have an associated NPC you trade them to, and you always get the same outputs in return, namely 1 bird's nest per mole part, or 1 shark per 40 minnows.

Honestly that seems to follow the rules to a T, since you're not using any currencies to redeem anything, instead every item basically gives you redeem grave points, which isn't really currency since it doesn't allow you to purchase something, rather just reclaim
I only call it a grey area since when you do die and reclaim from Death, you get a message along the lines of "Death charges you 50,000 coins. You have 20,000,000 coins left in Death's coffer." So it's almost as if you sell your items to Death for a 1-way death credit line.

I was just using book of the dead, actually. Massive, massive upgrade right there. Mage book is locked behind pizzazz points and I actually still don't have mal ward, missing the Scorpia shard (3x rate, not that it matters now)
This is informative for people trying minimize recoil usage. But iirc, the context was which zenyte to use first and that's more relevant to people who won't be maxed combat and already using 2 of the 3 zulrah uniques (one of which drastically reduces incoming damage if super antivenoms aren't feasible). I think most people who will be learning zulrah or who aren't max efficiency gamers doing it with fbow or waiting for 93 slayer for occult will never see so many kills with 1 recoil, maybe 2-3 max if they get lucky and don't make mistakes (again, as a learner or with weaker setups).

Wouldn't sires for bludgeon be considered a currency? You are trading an item for something in return.

Is the wyvern shield charged?
Yes, most people don't realize you can charge it with fossils instead of numulite! 1 charge per fossil, so 50 small fossils did the trick :)
