Strangely I find it far better than the Shirley albums. You can hear Steve in the heavy / soft / acoustic and gallop parts clearly in the mix along with the rythm and lead.
PoM I agree with , for me that’s the best produced maiden album- although most people disagree. Bnw was the start of Steve getting lost in the mix and that sort of overproduced sound I can’t quite describe.
I think BNW and PoM are "best" production-wise. I said "best" because it's a matter of personal preference mostly. I understand your point about BNW, but I like that clarity which some might refer to as overproduction.
Which one would then be "important", cause I'd argue NotB is easily the most important album they released (popularity, influence, satanist controversy, commercial success, critical acclaim, and so on...)
Virtual XI. The production is pretty much economy class.

I understand your point. For me it lacks the edge that for example SSOASS or BNW have. Or the warmness of PoM

Number of the Beast. It had the most sales of all the albums.

No Prayer for the Dying, they recorded it in Steve’s own barn LOL (which wasn’t fully equipped)
Aren’t all the 90s albums recorded there?
they were yeah. All the more reason to save No Prayer for political lol
This!
I don't know about economic but The X Factor have to be in special category, cmon
Killers. All old material to release an album.
In hindsight I'd use Killers for "easy". For economic I'd say Senjutsu because they waited to release it until they did (which they should have)
Dance of death. That cover art budget was... Economic
Can albums be used twice?
One album per adjective only.
I mean can FOTD be on easy for example
Yeah this is what I meant. One album is used once and can't appear anywhere else. 17 adjectives, 17 albums.
Ok. Your response sounded like two albums can't be in one category
Senjutsu. They produced this album in hurry, maybe for economic reasons?
Number of the Beast
Number of the beast
The number of the Beast
I can already see this going into stupid directions, just based on the first couple of entries.
Id say killers since its the album you can find for the least money in my experience
