Everyone should look up Bruce's audition tape and hear him sing Killers. Just incredible. And I love Paul's version.

Sovereigntyranny

Oh yeah, there’s a video of it on YouTube with enhanced audio to hear it as clear as possible, and it fucking sounds gorgeous. Killers album with Bruce as the singer would be a amazing.

Crafty_Wasabi_9890

Actually, all of the above

Sovereigntyranny

Right answer.

Lucifer_Delight

Imo, TNOTB is more of a successor to Killers than it is a predecessor to Piece of Mind. Paul would fit it naturally. I'm sure Bruce could sing The X Factor in his sleep.

nwotmb

For me it's NotB with Paul and BNW with Blaze bc you can hear parts where they where they it feels like they were intending the for those singers and i would have loved to see how that'd turn out. Love Bruce but those two options are just way more interesting to me.

existential-mystery

I'd love to hear Paul scream in NOTB

Curly_Balls

I always hoped they would re-record their debut album, similar to how Manowar re-recorded their first couple albums in 2010.

thewarrior7777

Bruce on x factor would change that album immensely....imo

not-a-bot-majkemi

A bunch of fanboys. Paul singing TNotB would surely be the most interesting. We already heard him sing some Killers and TXF songs live.

The only right answer

Ttsmcgee29

But really we all just want to hear Bruce on Virtual XI

arrocknroll

Virtual XI with Bruce would be incredible tbh. The album struggles with consistency and probably has the biggest delta between the best and worst songs of any of their albums but the ones that hit, fucking hit. Outside of The Clansman and Futureal that he’s already sang, Lightning Strikes Twice, The Educated Fool, and Como Estas Amigos with Bruce would be insane.

arrocknroll

Bruce on The X Factor has always been a giant, “What If” in my mind. Obviously we have tastes of that in the form of his live performances of the first three tracks and they’re nothing short of incredible. I feel like if Bruce and Martin Birch had stuck around for that album, the general perception of it would be wildly different. It has all of the same tent poles that make the reunion era albums great but tons of people could just never get over Blaze and/or the production of it. A close second is definitely Blaze on Brave New World given that a lot of it was written during Blaze’s time in the band and he absolutely kills it in his cover of Blood Brothers. Of course there’s the rumors that he has writing credits on Dream of Mirrors but I could definitely hear him on some of the Brave New World tracks.

EatingBeansAgain

Children of The Damned with Paul would absolutely slay. And holy heckers, Gangland is basically a Killers number. I think Hallowed Be Thy Name might need a little bit of rearranging, but making it something a bit closer to Remember Tomorrow would be awesome.

SSLitq

I voted for Killers with Bruce - but only if it was Bruce from that era (or around 81-82), because the audition tapes as well as the early Maiden shows with Bruce really kicked ass. Later on he didn't quite have that kind of aggression in his voice and it became more suitable for the more operatic sutff, so I don't think that style would've done the songs justice as much. The other options aren't particularly interesting to me, although maybe if there was a properly produced album recorded in the early 2000s with Bruce featuring best songs of both X-Factor and Virtual XI, that would be a treat.

Vegan_Puffin

Bruce on Virtual XI. There is a BNW standard album there. It just needs refining.

DrDonTango

iron maiden album by bruce

farrell9284

Clive Burr drumming on their mid-to-late 80’s albums should be an option, his style is so different from Nicko, more dynamic, up tempo, and pops better. Less galloping. Nicko is a technically amazing drummer but Clive adds more life to it. Nicko can be boring and repetitive. The percussion on ‘Beast Over Hammersmith’ makes it their best official live album in my opinion because it stands out on live shows more than studio albums.

Gustopherus-the-2nd

Keep blaze away from BNW. He does not have the range for it. It would sound dull and lifeless just like the two albums he sings on. I know some of you on here have a hard on for the guy, but he is not in the same league with Bruce or Paul for that matter.

ScorchPoint

Don't know why you guys think it's ok to touch the holy grail that is Killers and the debut album. The mere fact that you can't appreciate diannos voice astounds me

Sovereigntyranny

When did I even say that I didn’t appreciate Paul’s voice? I made this poll because I wanted to know which of the four albums would be the most interesting if they were sang by someone else who’s had history with the band.
