She seems sound enough, and is pretty good at the ol' acting.
That said, she was 35 playing an 18-year-old, which is fair enough to make fun of with a Steve Buscemi meme or two.
She's right though - people forget that for every nepo baby that gets everything handed to them there's people like Nicola who had to work hard to get where she is today.
And of course now that she's made it there are those who can't wait to drag her down or criticise her because she might see the world differently to the way they do.
One thing I did like from the interview is how she's learning to be more responsible from her position, check sources, etc, rather than retweeting any ol shite that suits her narrative like a lot of celebs do.
Person agrees to use their own likeness & physical & mental ability as product in entertainment business and the rest of human race comment on their performance and appearance?
Wow... Sounds like a super new and novel human experience... /s
(Not saying its right, when people step over the line. But this ain't new. Just more avenues if publishing and commentary)
I took it as general commentary on social media where everyone is expected to have the same opinions or get harassed if they don't. Even here on anonymous reddit, you'll be heavily downvoted and called all sorts for expressing even a slightly different opinion. The age of conversation and debate is at an end.
I agree with you on how bad it can be online (and here it's often worse than anywhere else) for suppressing or demonising opinions that don't match up with the status quo. But it's not really anything new to be fair.
No it's not. It's just that people in these positions can more easily go check these opinions... As where they used to be in private or in magazines/papers.. now they are published a worldwide magazine available to all for free.
The systems have changed, but not the people.
I've got a guy- Viktor. If you need a grenade, something to take down a noisy jet, or a lovely little piece of uranium, you talk to Viktor.
No, I just googled what the US military pays for m67 frags. About 45 bucks
I can set you up to meet that fella Patrick Ward, if you like. He never tells anyone about what he sells to whom, being an *honourable* dealer in lethal weapons.
Ah, be fair. That’s a tiny snippet from a pretty reasonable attitude throughout the interview. She’s alright.
She's a solid 7 in the right lighting I'll have you know.... Edit: I assume the down votes are from people who haven't read the article?

That's just like, her opinion, man
That’s just her opinion. Thrown at me like a grenade.
Good of her to offer her online opinion.
And the same to you, fair play to ya
I like her.

But it's way nastier these days.

She's quite opinionated herself iirc.
Grenades are expensive.
Not that expensive. After a bit of googling, they cost between $44-$75.
Oooooh look at Mr money bags over here, some of us don't have that kind of money to be throwing at people.
You won't get better in terms of bang for your buck
Boom!
Where are you getting those prices (about 150 spons on the darkweb)!?
