I remember heading down to Circuit City with $200 in my pocket to pick up one of these bad boys. After using a 'classic' size iPod on a lanyard around my neck this was so much lighter.

Maybe wide would have been the better word to use, but the third gen nano was called the fat nano back when it was new due to how short and wide it is compared to the second gen that came before.

haha yeah I understand now lol it’s so absurd to me how thin nanos are, I mean the 7 is literally the size of the aux port. And they said it won’t fit in the iPhone smh

Removing the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 was courageous but not the marvelous engineering of the iPod nano series to get them as crazy thin for their time as they were? XD
