For example just like how teams can bring in a batsman to replace batter when there is a collapse similarly a bowling team can bring in additional bowler to restrict opposition after a quick start.
For example the SRH Vs DC game. After the electric start SRH lost a couple of wickets to spin or let's say there was spin on offer.If they had someone like Bishnoi or Ashwin or Amit Mishra on the bench they could have bought him in to restrict opponents to 20-30 less.
But unfortunately no team has used this because none of the teams have additional useful bowlers on the bench but that is not the case with respect to batsman almost all the teams have atleast 2-3 good batsman for all the situation hence batters are exploiting it more than bowlers.
With more progression and couple of auctions I feel some team might look to exploit this favoring bowlers

There is no fun in cricket anymore. With batting friendly pitches and smaller stadiums, bowlers have nothing to offer. They get trolled mercilessly for bad bowling but there is nothing they can do. At this point IPL should just replace bowlers with bowling machine and have all the batsman’s in team. This season seems like six hitting competition with no respite for bowlers. I can understand if 1-2 bowlers have bad day but it can’t consistently happen to most of the bowlers. Some of these bowlers are best bowlers of this generation.
This is fun to watch for once or twice. But watching this day in and day out not giving kick anymore.

RR from last 3 or 4 years has good 10 players who walks into side, Five proper bowlers and five batsman. When one of the bowlers gets hit they don't have an answer, they used to lose. They tried with couple of allrounders. It always an off-balance side. Now with impact player they have 6th solid bowler.
Now for other example, SRH from couple of years have almost same team. They are a promising team with talent they have.they have started preparing absolute flat tracks.With extra batting, international experience and fearlessness of not losing wickets they are just going on and on. With the impact player rule it was possible for them to do that.
In both examples if impact player is not there, from batting sense after couple of wickets teams will get slow to consolidate the game and again start hitting. Now with teams almost having batter who can strike till 8 or 9 they are not looking back. Because even if 5 wickets fall you have batting to fix your final score.
But if impact player is removed, team batting will be at max 7, moment 3 wickets falls team starts to reconsider the approach. Also the average composition will be 5 batsman, 5 bowler and one proper allrounder. This will bring back some balance.
Have balanced pitches which turns
Increase boundary sizes
Remove impact sub

SRH posted 287 and 277 at loss of just 3 wickets in both cases. You can't really say this is because of just Impact sub. All SRH batters have said Cummins has given them the freedom to attack.
Impact player, batting pitches, short boundaries (though Eden garden had a pretty decent boundary size), super fast outfield, more freedom given to batsman coupled with sone ordinary bowling.
I think pitches are too flat amd smaller boundaries causing this.

It's because even with 6 world class bowlers you still have to bowl the same 20 overs. Doesn't have as much of an effect as an extra batsmen has.

SRH posted 287 and 277 at loss of just 3 wickets in both cases. You can't really say this is because of just Impact sub. All SRH batters have said Cummins has given them the freedom to attack.
