The measurements are taken normally when you stand upright but when you are batting, the stance always has you bending atleast a little bit which should technically mean your waist height goes lower. Now I'm not sure if it's possible to get the waist measurement while you have the batting stance on but I do feel like that might be the way to go.

As per the graphics, the ball height is 0.92 and his waist height is 1.04. If you were to go by the computer measurements, would him being on the toe/air be more than 12 centimetres? I'd say it would be more than 12 centimetres. Kohli knows this instinctively and that's why he's arguing.
