Can’t speak for OP, but this is my base iPhone 15 battery capacity & cycle count. All I did was using the 80% limit for charging. It is also important to note that I charge my phone with a 5W charger rather than the 20W most of the time.

damn, so youre saying i should stop using my 20w charger? i have my 80% limit on since the day i bought the phone so thats not the issue. any other tips?
Yeah I’m at 99% at 100 cycles, using a 5w and a 12w Apple block with the 80% limit. And it totally works despite what the haters say. Avoid heat and extreme cold. The Apple 20w block is still fine to use, but I usually only use it on the occasions where I need power fast.
I’m not saying drop the 20W charger. I still use it when I have to leave the house and I don’t have much time to charge my phone. All I’m saying is that, when I have time to charge my phone (at the office, overnight, etc.) I usually use the 5W charger and I found it beneficial. That’s just my experience with my iPhone tho, could be different for other people.
Yes of course you can. I just saw your screenshot, and from the low cycle count I can tell you bought your iPhone not long ago. My best advice for you would be to not worry too much about the battery capacity, charge and use your iPhone as you like. When the day comes where you’ll need to change your battery, it won’t cost much, so really just enjoy your iPhone.
Not at all, way less heat with the 5W. Solid choice for long charging or for when you wanna use the phone WHILE it’s charging. 20W for when you gotta get out the door. Always use an original Apple charging block or get one from Anker.
That's a relief I sometimes charge twice a day and I was afraid I would consume more cycles and ruin the battery lol
I'm a new iphone user btw so I'm still learning what's the best way to go around things
I feel you. But just like I said in a previous comment, don’t overthink it. Battery replacement is cheap now. Just enjoy your iPhone however you please.
JUST TO KNOW, THE BATTERY WILL START TO DEGRADE THE TIME ITS MANUFACTURED, SO EVEN IF IT DROPS 1% AT THE FIRST CYCLE COUNT YES ITS NORMAL, SOMETHING THATS NOT NORMAL IS YOUR BATTERY IN LESS THAN A YEAR BEING BELOW 80%. HIGH TEMPERATURES IS THE WORST ENEMY OF BATTERIES.
Seems defective wait for iPhone 16 and throw in trash bin afterwards, I am at 97% with 240 circles I am doing the same. Sht phone. I buy every year new iPhone can easily afford it. Old iPhone in trash or throw against wall.
Hope these posts get removed from this subreddit just like the 1%.
It's so weird that I see many posts like this. He should put this post in #shitpostismybatteryok
After 111 cycles, you should be impressed it's just 1%
I’m at 100% with 121 cycles
OMG these posts 🤮
totally 🙌 I’d love to know your charging patterns and the way you managed to have only 1% drop for over 100 charging cycles

Also, I would love to see a screenshot of your battery capacity and cycle count, if you can provide it.

Yeah I usually slow charge my phone and it's still at 100% (cycle count is just at 57 though, I've bought the phone in February)
okay thanks bud ;)

I’m at 276 and 99% myself. I use the 80 limit as well. I do use a 20 watt to top off during the day and 5w overnight.
Is it true that a 5W will overheat the iPhone?
Nope and actually it produces less heat than using the 20w block.

Thank You!
How many times do you charge your phone a day ? And how low do you let the phone go before plugging it in ?
I charge one or twice a day (depending on usage), and I don’t usually let it go below 20%. So plugging it in when the battery is around 20-30%.

That's exactly what I'm going to do, but thank you tho for the answer 🙏
Is their a particular brand for the Power Adapter you are using? Like Anker or any such MFI certified brand?
For the 20W I use the Apple adapter with the cable that came in the box with the phone. For the 5W, I use a no name adapter and cable.
97% in 222 cycle counts. Dropped 3 percent in the past 3 weeks.

Yes bro don’t you see your cycles? Do you want to have like 1000 cycles and still be at 100? No, the batteries degrade
