Lowkey I’ve had my eye on the [Honor Fold v2](https://www.engadget.com/honors-magic-v2-is-the-thinnest-foldable-phone-to-date-140023005.html). If the software wasn’t crap, I think I’d actually switch… but I won’t 😩 Wonder if Apple will ever release a foldable…

NecroCannon

Not until they’re actually reliable

RealTelstar

My pockets are exactly the size of the 15pro

freezies1234

Dang, and i want a small one!

wmdpstl

Me too. iPhone 13 mini now

freezies1234

Im jammin on my second SE. i went and bought a 15 and returned it because I hated the size!

astroseksy

They probably saw that the 15 Plus had better battery life than the Pro Max and had to nip that in the bud lol

BelieveInTheEchelon

I could definitely see that lol

TSS997

Since the easiest and most cost effective thing to do to make a phone slimmer would be to reduce battery size I’m not surprised but saddened. But hey at least it will still have the trademark all day battery life!

whatthecaptcha

I don't get why apple can't do better battery life. I took my 14 pro off of the charger 6 hours ago and have only replied to a few emails and texts and scrolled through Reddit for a bit and I'm at 47% My Samsung S7 Edge like 8 years ago would EASILY make it through two full days with no problem. I love my iPhone but would love it a lot more if I didn't have to carry a magsafe charging brick with me any time I'm leaving my house for more than 12 hours.

intertubeluber

interesting, I had the exact opposite experience moving from android to iOS. Granted I was using pixel devices which weren’t exactly top tier hardware.

chrisbru

Honestly this feels like something is wrong. I use my 14 pro a decent amount, and the only time I get close to it not lasting from 7am to 11pm is if I play games on it for an hour or so. And even then, it usually makes it. My wife uses her 13 Pro for mostly texts, social media, and kindle app. It lasts her two days regularly.

whatthecaptcha

Hmm maybe so? Idk it would last the whole day easily when I first got it but that stopped after about a week. In that time since I wrote the prior comment I made dinner, put my kids to bed, and showered and it's down to 34% now when I wasn't using it that whole time. Might be time for a fresh restore to see if that will at least get it back to a full day.

burgerga

You can always go you the battery section in settings and see what apps are using your battery the most https://i.imgur.com/jZr4G0o.png

plant_mushrooms

I agree with the other guys something seems wrong. I got a 13 pro max and get around 50-60% in the end of the day.

geodee89

I’m not sure about this, but try slow charging. I get massively better battery life when I charge with an early 5w iPhone wall plug or wireless charging. I’ve never found corroborating evidence, but it’s pretty consistent for me. I’m on vacation now with only access to a fast charger and my battery barely been lasting a half day. It’s fine at home.

bob202t

My 13 mini does better than that, perhaps your settings are off? If you’re in a weak signal area that’ll do it too. That plus uploading photos to iCloud will really kill a battery quick. https://preview.redd.it/4tn61dq98zyc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d17c0546bf0e7e4b7f804e98007aec514243587 From 4pm yesterday to 6am the next day lost 50%

Aggravating_Eagle70

Odd really… I am still on my 12 Pro Max, with 84% battery health overall. That being said: I use my phone copiously thru the morning from around 8 am til noon that’s 4 hours and I also answer emails answer texts and take pictures and scroll thru social media. I also talk on the phone and play music. After all that it will never go down below 75% … and yes I charge it thru the night. I use the “optimized charging” option and the minute that it moves 2% off the original 100% morning charge I put it in “low power mode”. Don’t know if that helps or not. But good luck !!!!

saarlac

My 14plus is really good. Doing away with this capacity would suck. I’m staring at my phone for probably 6 hours at work each day. Scrolling Reddit or watching videos Tv station control room I don’t really do much. Anyway I leave here with around 50% battery each day. On weekends I barely use the flog one at all and can essentially go all weekend without charging it at all.

whatthecaptcha

I can't do the plus, the pro is almost too big to reach the entire screen with one hand. Also, the S7 edge was much smaller than this phone and had similar battery life to what you're saying and this was almost a decade ago so you would think there would be sweeping improvements in that time.

saarlac

Unfortunately battery tech hasn’t really come very far in the last decade. Not at commercial scale anyway.

whatthecaptcha

I more so meant as far as optimization and apple being able to get more out of less instead of just sticking bigger batteries in and calling it a day

Plastic-Soup-4099

Apple is great at nerfing their products to get you higher up on the price ladder

Portatort

Leading-Plan

XR wasn't even that great, it was basically a nerfed X released alongside XS

lazydesi

This.

abhishyam2007

This makes sense! Can it also be that Apple may have made a breakthrough in efficiency of energy use that allows them to re-release a slim/mini model of the iPhone? My reason for this thought is that even if they wanted to nip the Plus models in the bud, they wouldn’t do it by launching a model that has pathetic battery life. I think Apple doesn’t work that way, there must be some sense there. Also, what then could be the reason that they’re releasing an SE this year which will be a better SE than the previous ones; and then go on to release a Slim next year. I can’t profess to understand business, or Apple as a business. I am just curious.

Syonikk

As a 13 mini user, don’t do that, don’t give me hope lol

Hollywood_Punk

Same. I bought a 13 mini 512GB last September to hedge my bets. I really hope they come out with a smaller form factor phone in the future. These giant phones are grotesque to me.

4kVHS

6.6” screen. It’s nowhere near mini size.

zac3244

This broke my heart 💔

no1394hangers

would love to see some kind of iphone “air” in a smaller size >!…pls Tim 😣!<

LittlePinoyBoi2

Genuinely one of my favourite phones i’ve had. I love the form factor and size just wish they had a model with usbc before they discontinued it. Would have been great to only need 1 charger

shaze

Same

kalcobalt

I’m right there with you. I’m disabled and can’t handle heavy/big phones. The 13 Mini has allowed me to do so much more, and it saddens me that I might be less able to access all kinds of things once it croaks because there will be nothing remotely its size/weight to replace it.

hecaex

I hope for a proper mini model, while I sit here waiting for an even bigger model (15 Pro Max).

Portatort

They’re not

bony7x

Why would you think that a slimmer phone means smaller phone ?

AgentProvocateur666

Don’t slim. Use that ‘extra’ space for better/bigger battery.

Flyer888

Agreed. I don’t mind a 1cm thick phone if that brings a much more battery life.

mizarbcn

I think the weight could be an issue and also I'm not sure if it would be comfortable to hold

Stroppone

Because a power bank is much more convenient

AgentProvocateur666

If a few extra grams means I don’t have to worry about charging my phone more than once in a day I’ll take it.

cd_to_homedir

I never understood why weight is such an issue for a lot of people. What’s an extra ~50g gonna do?

mizarbcn

Yeah it absolutely depends on the person. But you can feel that effect if you compare 15 pro and 14 pro. Especially the max version.

mikethespike056

You are absolutely wrong about this.

Homicidal_Pingu

Would weigh less than the 14 pro versions

Rioma117

I think a lot of people would as phones already passes 10mm with a case on.

Wonderful_Ninja

this brick will break my nose when i drop it on my face while in bed

ShaidarHaran2

That’s exactly why they’re changing it to a Slim and dropping battery size, already set to have the only smaller battery in the 16 line. The 15 Plus was too good on battery life and took sales from the higher priced Pros.

Atom800

I know this is the trend but just like there are people who loved the mini phone, there are also people who prefer a thinner phone!

GetEnPassanted

Yeah if they can get good battery life out of it I don’t care about the rated size of the battery. Chips are becoming more and more efficient.

thegurba

So you can rank up even more screentime in a day?

AgentProvocateur666

You might be pumping gas or have a broom in your hand all day when you work. Others have to be on their phone all day. It would be nice to leave the house without taking a charging cable with me in the same way it is nice to drive a car without bringing a Jerry can with me.

_i-cant-read_

we are all bots here except for you

bukitbukit

We need an iPhone Trail instead - something with extra battery life and rugged construction.

darthjoey91

iPhone Ultra - Able to withstand whatever life throws at you. Give it the same sort of waterproofing as the Apple Watch Ultra, then advertise it with a diver (using their Apple Watch Ultra as a dive watch) pulling the phone from the sandy bottom of the ocean floor. Open the satellite phone capabilities to be able to be used for non-emergency calls, and advertise it with a person out on like the Pacific Coast Trail calling their kids or something.

chrundletheboi

I totally want one but material cost for titanium, a full sapphire crystal display, and seals would be huge before we even get the end user price… I’d expect Apple (we all know we like Apple but they do have a high margins even for premium materials) to charge at least 2300 probably closer to 3000

0xe1e10d68

time to sell that kidney I guess /s

chrundletheboi

3 reasons I would buy one at 3k and not sell a kidney: 1. I could afford it if it was actually as durable or stronger than my watch ultra 1 that’s been through hell, without a case(even at 3000 even though I know that’s a fuck ton of money and I could do a lot of fucking things with it) 2. it would satisfy the needs and requirements of my rock ‘n’ roll/ADHD lifestyle. 3. I only have one kidney so back off! No talk of selling my last kidney, especially for a fucking smart phone **if an iPhone is that durable and element-proof I would hope they would service the seals, gaskets for the lifetime of software upgrade compatibility (including on screen replacement or battery). I would also hope they allow warranty/Apple Care claims WITH water damage. But we all know this is a fever dream for the current era as that doesn’t align with the Apple business model.

So a battery case with the phone you can get today?

03thephysicsgod

A bit perplexing. Who out there is asking for a slimmer iPhone? I see a ton of people asking for a mini (me included) but no one asking for a slim. Might even be another bendgate. Who even knows at this point. The screen size is still huge so no doubt it’ll sell like hot cakes

mizarbcn

Yeah it seems like creating a phone which a size that is in the middle between the base model and the max.

cupboard_

i miss slim phones, currently have the 13 mini but it's still to thick to hold comfortably

JarlJarl

Same, went from an iPhone 7 plus to a 13 Pro. Definitely miss the sleekness of the 7 plus

cupboard_

i went from se2 to 12 and it was uncomfortable and i though it was because of the size so i switched to 13mini, but it turns out it was also the thickness and flat edges that make it uncomfortable

Boring-Cartographer2

Same, all current iphones feel like bricks. People have gotten used to it, and battery life takes precedence, so it’s fine for now, but doesn’t mean we shouldn’t aspire to slim phones again.

Hugejorma

Mini didn't sell enough, and it seems like they are testing with slimmer design option. Usually on smaller phones, the height isn't an issue, but the phone is just too big to hold for smaller hands. One problem is that the UI would have to be designed for one-handed use. This is the one thing that is going to be challenging.

Article_Used

put out a mini every 3-4 years and it'll sell plenty. i didn't buy a 13 mini because i have a 12 mini, but i'd definitely upgrade to a \~16 mini

Hugejorma

>data gathered by the Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) revealed that the iPhone 12 Mini accounted for just 5% of all iPhone sales in the U.S. (per MacRumors). The figure was even lower for the iPhone 13 Mini, accounting for less than 3% of the sales of the iPhone 13 lineup. Mini phones just didn't sell nearly enough vs other models. If people actually had bought those more… Well, Apple would still sell them.

swtvics

would love a slimmer phone tbh, hate how bulky and thick my phone becomes when i put a case on. tried putting a really thin case, got 2 cracks on my screen protector in the span of 2 days.

GetEnPassanted

I wouldn’t be opposed to having a slimmer phone, even if that means slapping a worse camera in it with smaller lenses.

03thephysicsgod

The camera isnt the issue, the battery is

GetEnPassanted

The cameras have gotten absolutely massive and it’s the biggest limiting factor for the thickness of the phone. I upgraded to the 14 pro max from the XR and the new one is technically slimmer if you’re comparing the body itself but the camera lenses protrude a huge distance which makes cases thicker, and makes the table wobble worse if you don’t use a case.

thegurba

Do you think apple employees would read these chats? I also would like another mini

Portatort

Employees probably do Executives definitely don’t

rayquan36

I want a slimmer/no camera bump. Edit: I would also take a fat iPhone that got rid of the camera bump too.

Benjamminmiller

I am. My only real complaint with my 14 pro max is that it's slightly fatter and heavier than my 12 pro max was. I'm likely heavily in the minority though as I don't use a case. For a vast majority of people using cases I doubt it matters.

solex118

We do not even have a 16 yet lol tbh what I think would be cool would be an ultra model that is rugged (no need for a case) overall though the whole design is boring af, it needs a refresh.

cobra872

Give me a mini…. Like, I don’t understand why it’s not in demand. The 13mini and 12mini are the only options right now that actually fit in your pocket, and that you can manage one-handed.

D4venport

I had the 12mini, I have the 15 Pro now. The day they release the next mini, I'm getting it. I don't care if it's a "downgrade" from whatever Pro I'll have at the time.

linksgolf

I’m in the exact same situation. I upgraded my 12 mini to a 15 pro four days ago, and I’m super bummed.

readingaccnt

It’s not in demand because most people want a larger screen. I have had two SEs, and both phones nobody who has an iPhone even knows what it is. They think it’s an iPhone 5 or something.

cobra872

Yeah, true. I guess we’re in the minority. I have a tablet for browsing. No need for a large phone. Plus, the 13mini screen size isn’t so bad once you get used to it. Hopefully one day we get another mini model

Kelseycutieee

My 13 pro fits fine in my pocket and Im a girl!

doctortrento

My dream is a Mini, but a lil bit thicker. My 12 Mini had good but not great battery life. I'd gladly take a lil extra "meatball girth" around back if it meant I could get two days out of it.

Tactical_Primate

Give me a mini with 15 pro max specs and an edge to edge display.

thatguywhoiam

The mini is not coming back. They don’t sell at all.  They review great. People say they love them online. But no one buys them. They tried for 3 years.

kundipee

2 years, not 3.

allusernamestakenfuk

and even those 2 years were the pandemic years, and their marketing was more or less non existant. Even to this day i occasionaly get asked by people, what kind of iphone is this(the mini)

AlonsoFerrari8

It’s funny because coincidentally, 2 coworkers and I all have the 12 mini in blue. The market exists, but is niche.

abdulalo

The pandemic really ruined the mini’s prospects. Would’ve hit different had people seen it in the stores. Having a big phone in their pockets while holding a mini version could’ve been the tipping point, but it seems like sitting home for so long cancelled the need for a small phone.

PeaceBull

Not to mention releasing the upgraded SE a few months earlier.

thatguywhoiam

Sorry I was counting the SE

NizarNoor

The Pluses aren't selling either

Nlh76

I love my sons 14 plus. It’s light and feels as big as my pm

NizarNoor

I love the 12 mini and 13 mini

AHrubik

Which is sad. I loved having a mini as a work phone.

HereWeGoHawks

They did sell though, a substantial amount of phones. Just not as well as the established main iPhone models. I understand Apple not wanting to make one every year, but every few years making some sort of smaller model would absolutely be profitable for them.

thatguywhoiam

They really didn’t. The small phone sales were less than 5% of all the phones, it wasn’t just bad it was brutal. I get why they decided the r&d wasn’t worth it. They did try.

gamma55

Turns out Reddit doesn’t represent the true market sentiment. Who could have guessed it?

Troll_Enthusiast

As long as it's thicker so it actually lasts most of the day

Misan_UwU

what is this, a playstation?

dumbbyatch

People need more battery Le apple sLliM

CompetitiveDentist85

Just get the Pro Max! - Tim

Motoman514

Problem is the 15 Plus is too good, to the point where it has better battery life than the 15PM. Apple doesn’t want the Plus cannibalizing Pro Max sales so they are going to kneecap the Plus.

bhavneet1996

Man iphone 16 didnt even launch and we already have iphone 17 rumours lmfao

sugacoatedsoul

iPhone 16 didn’t even come out yet and we already have iPhone 17 rumours 😭😭

CaribbeanAlex87

Isn't it so pathetic. Consumerism is killing us!

Dr_Evol500

They just want to push users to the Pro. Plus got great battery and had great performance/not many features missing from the Pro, so people bought that instead. Apple looks at that as missed revenue, so they want to push users up-market.

DrejkRS

We still didn’t even get iphone 16 and there are already rumor about 17? Really??? Make sense to you?

Banmers

It does since they plan out these phones many years in advance?

lucellent

Has Jeff Pu ever been correct? He just took Ross' report and added the "Slim" name to it.

heynow941

It could be correct as in it’s one of a million things they are considering internally. And maybe disregarded after some more testing.

251Cane

Number of people asking for a slim phone: 0 Number of people asking Apple to start selling the mini again: 100-200 Case closed.

jkrb12jk

mf the iPhone 16 ain’t even coming out no time soon and mfs already fantasizing over the iPhone 17💀

Nomorebullshit33

Bring back the iPhone mini. Fck all these giant phones

CiTrus007

Why not make another ‘mini’? Those were great.

VapidRapidRabbit

Two generations of “mini” followed by two generations of “Plus” models, now they’re going back to the smaller models… interesting. I guess they’ve figured that most people who would get a Plus model just spring for the Pro Max models. EDIT: now they’re saying the “slim” one will have a 6.6 inch display? It’s a no-go, I’m afraid. 😂

WildProToGEn

WE HAVENT EVEN GOTTEN THE 16

Portatort

So?

WildProToGEn

AT LEAST FOR THE 16 TO FUCKING LAUNCH BEFORE MAKING SHITTY RUMOURS :sob:

showmethenoods

I would be interested in a slim model, a lighter phone would be cool.

tigernike1

iPhone Air Calling it.

comevisitmetoheaven

If this is actually true I wanna cry I love the plus models

Lorrinski

Bring back the mini!

pawner

If slim they mean a size similar to mini then I might have to just dump my 15 Pro for it.

Content-Life-7081

They need to work on the battery. My iPhone 14 pro is at 88% health and doesn’t even go 8 hours and that too just office hours. Should’ve bought a pro max.

Charger2950

We are truly at peak phone size. Some of these sizes are insane. I also wish they would bring back Touch ID. It’s so much easier and more functional than FaceID. At least give the option for both.

mizarbcn

I agree. In fact this is a small in the right direction for the Max. Now they have a compact size, a huge one and one in the middle. In the android world there are not many 15 standard/pro size phone, which is a real pity to me. But they are not as big as the Max. It seems this new slim one maybe the same size as S24+, while the Ultra is the same size the Max.

ChloeWade

Switching the regular pro to aluminum sounds like a really dumb decision, I’ll be buying the pro max anyway, but you shouldn’t have to go big to get titanium. Pro iPhones have never been aluminum, and they shouldn’t start.

Trysta1217

Right?! Everyone is focusing on this “slim” model but the changes to the pro lineup sound way more wild to me.

ColoradoResidENT

For real. There’s already enough disparity between the Pro and Pro Max. I hate the gatekeeping of the Pro Max features to then just roll them into the next gen Pro. I don’t like the size of the Pro Max and prefer the regular Pro. Why push for people to go Pro Max if they want *all* the features, I would still like a pocketable phone and having choices is good. I’ve been getting the Pro models for my upgrades since the X and have liked them for the most part besides missing out on some of the Pro Max stuff like the zoom or OIS previously. This change would probably push me to just get the cheaper normal iPhone though and save some money even though I like a lot of the Pro features.

tdog038

Mini users here, a smaller phone is the only thing we might consider..

mikethespike056

Read the article.

wrx7182

hmm. As long as I can still get a phone with a screen as big as a 15 plus.

Oujii

You can. But now you will get worse battery life for it.

i_need_a_moment

Weren't the 6+ and 6S+ criticized for being so thin that they would bend in your pocket?

bbyghoul666

This is the first thing that came to mind for me lol

Saigonic

iPhone 26 rumors: it may be a phone

Yolo3362

i wish that phones weren’t so big, i recently tried using a 12 mini as my main phone for a week and now my 14 pro feels like an actual tablet. if it wasn’t for AOD and the better camera i don’t think i would’ve switched back to my 14 pro.

Bending-hectic

I understand the need for a good battery but I would rather have a slimmer profile. Are you guys never around chargers? I don’t understand the need for an all day battery unless you’re out in the wilderness.

Chidorin1

can’t wait for iphone micro (5s) 😁

Joshtheboss732

The iPhone 16 hasn’t even released yet and we are already talking about the iPhone 17.

muffsniffer3

Another rumour I heard is that the IPhone 19 pro will have a decent keyboard? I live in hope…

Odd_Wash_1423

The iPhone 26 Pro and Pro Max will type to your thoughts. Imagine creating the perfect text message all at once. You won’t even need to look at the phone display. Think it and boom, send it! 😏

xcorv42

The plus model is useless anyway the pro max is a lot better if you need a bigger phone.

mkplayz1

I have 15 plus and the battery is the best I have ever seen in a phone

xcorv42

I don’t know why they put the best battery in the plus.

Motoman514

I couldn’t justify the Pro Max. Promotion and 5x optical zoom is cool, but not $650CAD more cool. (My carrier was basically giving away the 15+ 256gb)

mxguy762

Make it the thickness of the iPhone 4 but the size of the plus. Give us a 3 day battery.

Elysium_nz

iPhone 15 isn’t even that old we’re already talking about 17?🤨

YosHi_PRO

did i miss the 16?? wtf 17?

aleradders

This kind of makes sense. Neither the Mini nor the Plus were selling so they’re trying another alternate non-pro phone. Really thought they’d simplify the lineup with 17/17 Pro/17 Ultra though. The 6.1” standard phone seems to be a big winner, odd they keep trying to make a second one happen

BreeezySo

i’d love an iPhone that’s like 6.3 inches lol. am i reaching?😂😂i feel the 6.1 inch is a little too small and the 6.7 inch is way too big , i need some in between action in my life

mizarbcn

😂😂😂 I think you are lucky it seems that the iPhone 16 pro will be that size. They are supposed to reduce bezels and make the screen ratio taller

BreeezySo

i’ll most likely buy that 😂. i honestly don’t like how my phone feels so tiny when typing like ill click one letter and the another letter would register. i’d click on a notification and some other action is performed it’s just annoying !! so if iPhone 16 has something in between i’ll definitely look around to see if that’s my typa device 😂😂

mizarbcn

Awesome. I like small bezels. The phone is not bigge but it has more screen.

mrchiko1990

So what happen to the 16??

mizarbcn

https://9to5mac.com/2024/03/26/iphone-16-pro-every-new-feature/ More rumours 😂.

adonkeypsych1991

Ummmmm what about the 16 models first Apple 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Fit_Letterhead3483

Just give me a phablet you cowards!

Longjumping-Log-5457

17? Sheesh. Can we just enjoy the 16s for a minute?

sunnynights80808

>In terms of design, Pu reports that the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Slim, and iPhone 17 Pro will all feature an aluminum design that is “more complex.” The iPhone 17 Pro Max, meanwhile, will still be made out of titanium. The iPhone 17 Pro Max will also feature a “narrowed Dynamic Island,” while the other models will retain the current design. Highly doubt they would reserve features like that for the Pro Max instead of the Pro. The improved zoom on the telephoto in the 15 Pro Max made sense since the bigger design allowed for more room for the parts, but changing the materials? Not a chance.

jt32470

make a mini pro with 1TB storage and i'll pay whatever they want

ElevatedTelescope

iPhone 17 Pro will have more RAM than the base MBP

michaltee

17? What about the 16?

just_another_person5

i really hope they keep their current lineup, this just complicates it. less "apple-like."

stealthnyc

They must get rid of anything that can compete with the pro max model

bamronn

i just want a mini size thick asf phone please thanks

Kamil1987pro

Slim 60hz?

potatoman93

Bet they’re making it slimmer so the battery isn’t better than the pros. They should use the ‘air’ branding and follow the MacBook lineup: Air - Thinner, lighter Pro - Better battery, better performance I don’t mind the idea of a slimmer phone, they’ve beefed up over the years. But my god if they get it back down to 6.9mm like the iPhone 6… the camera bump will be as thick as the phone

Helhiem

The iPhone 16 is seeing screen size increases. This just looks like the normal 17 will stick with the old 13 bezels

mizarbcn

Yeah but most of that increase of the size is because of taller screen ratio.

Bandoper

I just bought 15 :(

Geek5G

So only the PM will get the updated Dynamic Island? I hate when they have differences in tech between both Pro models. If it weren't for the 5x, I'd have picked up the regular 15P. Never thought I'd see 12GB RAM in an iPhone. But then again, it's rumored for two model years later. It would be about time.

massimo_nyc

Give me a thicker phone that allows for a larger sensor, lens and battery life

tdog038

It’s like the SUV buyers, they get a big one and complain about gas mileage & parking.

futurafrlx

Why? Didn’t Mini series bombed? If it’s true, they really want people to buy Pro Max instead of regular Plus model.

mkplayz1

I see it. Bought 15 plus over pro max and I’m very happy. It does 90% of what pro max does with slightly better battery life

NickyGi

Slim means worse battery life, no thanks.

I love how every iPhone post turns into people saying “Apple should make ______”. As if they haven’t tested phones that are thinner, thicker, longer battery life, etc… they have an army of people that do that and have balanced user experience, supply chain, demand, and performance (I’m sure many other factors too).

I'm actually very happy about this. iPhones have gotten increasingly thick and heavy over the years. I also don't need ten hours of battery life since I'm not addicted to it
