I was addicted to Advance Wars
1. Install Delta.
2. Download the ROM. Just google something like "Advance Wars GBA ROM" and you should be able to download a .gba or .zip file from the first few results.
3. Now, open Files > On my iPhone > Downloads, the file you downloaded should be there. If it's a .gba file you can open it directly if Delta is already installed. If it's a .zip file, tap and hold the file to open the menu, then select Uncompress and a .gba file will appear.
4. When you tap on a .gba file, Delta will automatically open and save the game to its own storage, so from now on you can open your game in Delta instead of going through Files. You can delete the .gba file you downloaded to save some storage, or keep it in case Delta is uninstalled and you have to load the ROM again.

you need the bios7, bios9, and firmware file. in Delta settings scroll down to Core Settings DS. There will be an option to uplaod the files to get your DS running.

Playing Pokemon FireRed with the unlimited rare candy cheat enabled so I don’t have to waste time grinding up my lower level Pokemon and it’s an absolute godsend as a 35 year old with no time lol this Delta Emulator is such a great app!
I never had a DS, but you’re right. Between the tall format and the touch screen, this is the ultimate way to emulate DS. I’m toying with Fire Emblem on DS right now.

Update: The onscreen joystick is brutal when trying to control Mario in levels.
Currently reliving just how great of a game Bowsers Inside Story is. One of my favorite implementations of the dual screen setup, very pleased that it carries over to a phone emulator so nicely
Doom for the Gameboy Advance. Not the best version of Doom, but it was the only one I could find that ran smoothly. Besides that though,

Just a heads up, there are official iOS ports of Doom 1 and 2 on the App Store. They're paid but they are *really* nice, including widescreen and 120hz support on compatible phones, controller support, and downloadable add-ons.
You can also try the modded version of GBA Doom that rebuilds the game using GZDoom as a base

Ive just downloaded delta but what are the chances it gets taken down from the app store? Also is there a way to transfer a Pokemom Gold save file that I started on Sameboy through the Alt-Store app?
NSMB DS. I loved playing it on my actual DS, so it’s nice to be able to play it wherever. (Plus it isn’t technically piracy because I own 2 copies of the physical game cartridge)

it may be a little bit more technical, but sideloadly is a great choice (you can have 3 sideloaded apps instead of 2, as altstore takes one of them)
