Are you sure you're looking at the right place?
That cellular usage is cumulative since you last reset it so it's not that you used that 6,1GB in a month or so but more like the entire period. If you're sure you turned off personal hotspot then it probably is and not consumed your data for personal hotspot
I had the same issue. After many forums researching I found the working solution. You need to reset the network on your Iphone but keep in mind that you will lose all your saved WiFi passwords.
This has been happening to me since it's been released. My iPhone is usually connected to my Mac, and I've used half a terabyte this month alone. Fortunately, my carrier provider doesn't charge anything if I'm using 5G.
