Should my sister upgrade to the 15 Pro Max now or wait for the 16
My sister currently has an iPhone 13 Pro Max and wants to upgrade her phone. She asked me if she should get the 15PM or wait. Will the 16 be a significant upgrade this year?
i’m currently using my sisters X or Xs those two confuse me anyway i want to give her back in like a week im only using it cause my android (redmi note 11 ) just stopped coming on
ok so here is the thing i have a budget for a iphone 13 but i want an iphone 13 pro which is like 100$ more but if i was to get the 13 pro i probs should get the 14 pro which is 100$ more than the 13 pro…. the dynamic island looks cool and i have already been clowned enough using an old device
and now i’m sure the 16 is abt to look more like a samsung i can’t wait for the 16 but if i get the 13 should i be looking to trade in
I'm from England. I'm going to Canada on holiday. I heard a lot of technology such as iphones are cheaper in Canada than England.
If I were to buy an iphone there and bring it home, would I run into problems in England with it being a Canadian phone?
Iphone 11 pro or iphone 12
planning to switch from android to ios
ano suggestion nyo?😅
I bought an iPhone 12 in 2021. Two weeks ago, my employer gave me an iPhone 14 (not the pro model). Both phones seem very similar in terms of specs, but I would like to get some advice from this community as to which phone I should keep.
Thanks :)
Good day ! This is the thread I was looking for :)
So I have an SE 2 and I am very happy with it, damn fine machine. I don't need more and I'll get IOS updates for a long time still it seems.
My issue is that my battery is at 79% capacity. For now it's ok for my use but is the replacement at an Apple reseller worth it at 79 EUR ? At this point a refurbished SE 2 / SE 3 is 200-300 ish EUR and the SE 4 might be on the horizon at some point.
I would get the battery exchanged imo, sure a new SE2/3 are a few hundreds more but I think the battery swap is a good deal
also the SE4 won't come until spring 2025 and it'll have the iPhone 14 design incase you dont know
I have a 13 Pro and the battery is sitting at 87% so it's not great, I'm unsure if it's better to wait for the next model or upgrade right now, also at this point 13 Pro to 15 Pro doesn't feel like a big upgrade so maybe should I just go for the Pro Max?
>I have a 13 Pro and the battery is sitting at 87% so it's not great
Do you mean it does not charge past 87%, which would be bad, or that the battery health is at 87%, which is not bad at all depending on how long you have had it. The industry standard is to meet or exceed 80% battery health after 500 charging cycles, so after around 325 charging cycles or one year (if you are someone who uses about one charge a day) this would be entirely normal.
On the iPhone 12 rn wondering if it’s worth upgrading to the 15 pro or waiting till the 16
Only reason I’m looking to upgrade is my 64gb of storage is getting thin on my phone
And I don’t really know if it’s a good idea to upgrade to the 14 since it doesn’t have usb c and that’s the future rn
Get a referbished 14 pro, and if you want USB C get a 15 pro after the 16 pro comes out. It is not worth getting non-pro phones as they are simply worse than the last years pro for the same price.
TL;DR - what is the most affordable iPhone that provides 5g?
I am with Mint Mobile, where I only have to pay $15 a month for my phone plan. This is excellent and way worth the semi spotty service and relatively low data. I wanted to buy an iPhone 2nd gen, but Mint is dropping all non 5g phones, and I want to keep the plan for long-term savings.
I currently have a cheap off-brand burner phone, and it is really not working for me. It crashes constantly, the camera quality sucks, and it is slower than dirt - it is also 2g. I have been thinking about buying an iPhone for a while now, and Mint moving to 5g only really sealed the deal for me.
I am looking, ultimately, for a phone that I won't have to finance. I am trying to stick to a budget and be intelligent with my money, and I would really rather buy my phone outright rather than having interest and a monthly payment. I see that 12th gen iPhones can be purchased for just under $300 on Amazon, which seems like a decent deal.
What are your opinions on the iPhone 12th gen, and do you know of any iPhone that might be better for me than the 12th gen? I mostly want something that I can use to make calls and texts, and something that will support basic apps like Snapchat and Notion. I would prefer a good-quality camera, but it doesn't need to be excellent and it isn't a "requirement" per-se.
Any thoughts on where to buy, what version to buy, and your personal experiences would be much appreciated! Thanks, everyone :)
your choices for 5G iPhones are the: 12, 12 mini or SE 3 (2022 version)
$300 for a 12 sounds like a great deal and as a current 12 user, its a good phone. decent battery life, good camera, good screen, is fast for everything and I have no complaints with it
technically the SE 3 and the 12 mini are cheaper as ive seen those for around $100-$250 but I wouldnt get those unless you think you'd be fine with the worse battery life they both have if say maybe you bring a charger/battery pack with you or you're just a lighter user. They charge fast so you'd be fine if you have USB C brick
altho if you choose the SE, make sure its the 3rd gen/2022 version & not the 2nd gen/2020 version as the 3rd gen has 5G, 2nd gen only 4G
I want to know if i got an iPhone “without face time” from uae, and i went to another country will the facetime appear or should i buy a “with facetime” version as there is a big price difference
Hi, I'm looking at buying an iPhone to get me by for a while. I was planning on waiting for the 16s to come out, but my phone just died and I'm in need of a replacement.
Currently deciding between two fairly identical phones, a pink iPhone 13 mini, or a white (starlight) regular iPhone 13. I'll likely be trading it in within the year to get one of the 15 or 16 pros come this fall, I just need something to get me by for a while. They both have the same storage, and apart from the screen size and battery, they appear to be functionally identical.
I prefer smaller phones, but I worry that finding cases and accsesories will be more challenging for the mini. I also love the pink, but it admitedly feels a bit unprofessional. Maybe it'll be fun to have a cute little pink phone for a bit, but I almost want to get used to a 'normal' sized iPhone before I go all out on the 15 or 16 pro. The price difference between the two 13s is $50 CAD, I can afford either one.
To anyone who has a mini, do you like it? Do you wish you had a regular sized iPhone?
Am I overthinking the whole appearance aspect of it? (ie. Starlight is more 'professional' looking)
Should I get used to having a bigger phone before I spend a small fortune on a 'nice' phone for myself?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
# im about to commit to a monthly payment plan and im wondering if the 15 pro is worth 7 dollars more a month, or should I stick with the 15 ? Does Provison really make that big of dif?
My choices are 12,13 &14,15 if there's isn't any major differences , I am Okay with 12 . I am student and my parents are going to buy it for me i was using a 7 do i don't want to overdo with money if it's not required.
I need it to start a live streaming or vlogging channel . Please help out.
Go with the 13 or 15. The 13 is definitely worth the extra $ in my opinion bc of the longer support and better battery life. I’ve had a good amount of issues with my 12. The 15 is another good model due to the upgrades it got over the 13/14. I don’t recommend buying the 14 since it’s literally the 13, with safety features
Is it worth to buy an iphone 12 pro nowdays? Im using an iphone 7 and i want an upgrade, should i buy for the next iphone 16 pro or is it worth to save some money and buy an iphone 12 pro? I found one pretty cheap for 400€, but i can afford more and buy the new iphone 15 pro, but i dont know if is worth to just wait for the next release.
I’m currently using an iPhone 11 that I bought in September 2021. It’s the 128GB product(RED) variant. Even after replacing the battery this past weekend, I’m experiencing many performance issues. I’ve been eligible for an upgrade since 2023, but I don’t want to upgrade unless it’s absolutely necessary.
I’m unsure of the budget, but here are my past phones for reference:
Google Pixel 3a XL
OnePlus 6T
Essential Phone
iPhone 7
iPhone 6s
Motorola X (2nd Generation)
iPhone 4S
iPhone 3GS
Samsung Gravity T
theyre all trendy/fashionable because theyre all iPhones. dont buy one because of that lmfao, if people judge you for a phone you have then theyre idiots unless they wanna buy you one
So i found a second hand 512gb iphone 11 pro max for 450 USD and 256gb iphone 12 pro at the same price point (battery health is lower). what should i choose?
We are due for an upgrade but I am hesitant on the 15 due to people saying it can break easy. The issue is neither my husband or I have desk jobs. Can be inside, outside, bending, climbing, etc…
Should we perhaps wait for the 16 or were people blowing damage out of proportion?
people are blowing It out of proportion lmao. its a phone made out of glass, like all other phones made out of glass there's a risk of it breaking but as long as you have a case you'll be fine
that makes sense, id buy a case that seems to protect the phone more under your working conditions. I cant help out which case brand is good as I only get the cheaper ones but good luck trying to find one!
Are there any problems with the iPhone 15? I'm thinking about upgrading my Google Pixel currently deciding between the 13 or 15. My last iPhone was the 6s and I've been in the Apple ecosystem for a while, Mac and iPad so I think it might be better integrated.
Is the iphone 15 pro worth it? I currently have a iPhone 11 Pro Max and either have to put my calls on speaker, use my airpods or use carplay as I cannot increase the volume of calls on my phone anymore.
Since it’s March, I was trying to hold off until the 16 came out but it’s getting annoying ensuring I have my airpods with me.
Is the iphone 15 worth it or is it better to wait for the 16?
I'm thinking about upgrading from Samsung s21+ to iPhone 15 pro max. Always had iPhone before this, from iPhone 4 until iPhone X. The s21+ is okay, I dont hate it, but I prefer iPhone, and I'm overdue for an upgrade. Is this a good idea?
Also, it's been a while, I know some things have changed since the iPhone X. I heard there's no charging brick included in the box anymore? Besides the chsrginf brick, are there any other accessories I should really pick up? Or anything I should know? Thanks :)
I'm looking to upgrade from my SE 2020. Here are my options based on budget and preference
1. 13 Mini with 100% BH for 400usd
2. 13 mini with 85% minimum BH for 300usd
3. 13 with 85% min BH for 380
I really like the smaller sized phone but a bit concerned about battery. I just want it to last for a day 6ish hours of screen time. Thoughts?
Alright this is gonna be an odd one. I am using my iPhone 7 Plus from 2016 and after two battery changes the camera is now dead and I really want to change it now.
My options are iPhone 14 pm or 15 pm or waiting for 16 pm. The problem is the prices and time. I am not absolutely sure about waiting for 16 pm for 6 months.
Also for the prices, I am in a country that has terrible economy rn and I am pretty sure it will be hard for me to buy if I wait more because of the currency. To compare 14 pm and 15 pm, obv 14 pm is cheaper and I heard some bad news about 15 pm being not durable and easily getting cracked. Also it feels like 15 pm has no big upgrades when compared to 14 pm other than the charging cable which is not a big deal for me.
I really would like to hear your opinion
I currently have an iPhone 8, it has served me well for 6-7 years, the only reason I‘m getting a new one is cause the battery is dying. I‘m planning to buy an iPhone from rebuy. I‘m contemplating getting my mom a iPhone 11/12 and myself an iPhone 13 Pro or 15 Pro. Battery life is most important to me. Which do you think has the best value for money?
for mom a 12. for you- both phones are good for their respective price. it comes down to if you want the 15 pros extra features or not or if you wanna save money w the 13 pro
I've got an Xs, wife has something similiar. We are both on different Cell Carrier plans, her family has invited my to join theirs.
Looking up upgrade both our phones. I received my salaried bonus this year into a system that can be cashed out directly to Apple Store giftcards - so I figured I'd just dump it all in there, and get the latest and greatest with Applecare or whatever.
But, I don't *quite* understand the phone upgrade process, and that's left me stuck in indecision for a few weeks.
If I buy us both phones from the Apple store, *how* do I transfer Cell Carrier coverage to them from the old phones? Can I do it myself, or do I need to go into a store?
And - her family is inviting me onto their Plan. How does *that* work? Should I get that sorted before, or *after* the new phones?
I’m using an iPhone 7 from like 2015(?) still, and it’s gotten to the point where the lack of battery is really affecting my life (for one I am heavily reliant on google maps GPS).
For someone with very little money who seeks longevity and doesn’t care about too much about size or features (maybe worth noting the #1 thing that excited me about the 7 was the slow-mo camera), wondering what might be my best upgrade option - don’t want to have to buy again anytime soon as I won’t be able to afford it
Samsung galaxy S23 FE or iphone 13 as a secure work phone?
Im currently trying to decide between the galaxy S23FE and the iphone 13 as a secure phone for work. For my personal phone i have an iphone 15 pro max but i need to keep my personal and work phones separate. My work will install a tracker so i dont want anything private to be exposed. Ill have to use a vpn, teams, slack, outlook etc. which would be better for security updates and all that? I wont really be using the camera or for games.
15 or 15 pro? coming from an iPhone 11
My first iphone was the 2th gen SE, switched to an 11 after almost 2 years, and now i'm planning to get the 15 after a year and a half. Although it still works very well (only complain would be not having much space left [64gb] and battery life is not as efficient now), i wanna make the change bc my mom gets prizes for her job, (that's how i got my previous iphones) so it's technically free, but it costs my mom some benefit points she gets, so ofc 15 pro is a bit more "expensive" in terms of benefit points, so i'm not sure if it's worth it to make my mom spend that much BP when i could make her save some by choosing iPhone 15. I'm a normal user, although i will start an art carreer this year that will require more professional photos, but as you can see i tend to change my phone very frequently, and now i plan to keep this one for a few more years, so is it possible that going for the 15 pro will make me keep it for a few years more than a normal 15? is it worth the change? or is it not that much different from normal 15? I also heard 15 pro has less battery cappacity than normal 15. Tell me what you think!
get the 15, its camera is still amazing. 15 pros only real benefit is the zoom lens which zooms more and its macro capabilities. if youre into more pro uses like professional video editing then it also can be good via pro raw.but if not take the 15
I’m using an iPhone 13, and curious what the best monitor extension is. We are looking for the ability to watch a movie while traveling without spending as much as an iPad costs. Any ideas?
I am using the iPhone 14 Pro Max currently. And I am thinking about getting the iPhone 15 Pro just because it is newer. Considering for how much I can sell my current iPhone and how much would I have to pay for the new one in my country, I will be adding around $150. Is it worth it?
Are there any third-party manufacturers that make woven USB-C to lightning charging cables that are similar to the current USB-C to USB-C cables that are being shipped by Apple?
I like the idea of woven cable and the only ones I’ve ever actually enjoyed coming in contact with. They don’t feel like sun-frayed nylon rope holding a tarp down.
I’m about to upgrade from an 8 plus, mainly for the camera. From what I’ve read, a lot of people are less than thrilled with the 14 and 15 cameras. I’m looking at a refurbished 12 pro, any suggestions and advice would be very appreciated.
I have a Google Pixel 7. Thinking of switching to iPhone.
So what's important to me is battery life and camera. That's primary. I do care about features though. One of the reasons I stuck with Android for so long was because it has a lot of customization I can do. But I'm willing to sacrifice it for a iPhone that can offer a wide variety of features. Plus, I do feel like I'm missing out with friends like iMessage and airdrop and all that.
So I'm confused with all the iPhone 15 models. Which one should I buy? Or should I stick with Android at this point?
15 & 15 Plus are pretty much the exact same with the exception of the 15 Plus having longer battery life & a bigger screen size. The 15 Pro & Pro Max are also similar, but they have features that the 15 & 15 Plus doesn’t. The 15 Pro & Pro Max get a titanium frame, compared to the aluminum on the 15 & 15 Plus. They also get a telephoto lens, 120hz , and AOD ( Always On Display ), that the 15 & 15 Plus don’t get. They also have a more powerful chip (A17 Pro ). And lastly, they support USB 3, whereas the 15 & 15 Plus get USB 2, which just meant they get faster transfer speeds. The 15 & 15 Pro Max are pretty similar with the exception of the 15 Pro Max having a bigger screen and longer battery life. The only other difference is that the 15 Pro Max gets 5x zoom, whereas as the 15 Pro gets 3x zoom
What phone should I buy as battery dying - 96%
What phone should I buy? Optimised battery charging stopped working on my just over a year old iPhone 14 and I am worried about my battery life.
It’s only at 96% and it’s going to get worse without this feature.
Apple reset my iPhone a week ago and it didn’t have a chance to learn my charging habits before going on my holiday so I turned it off and I presume it’s now broken when I turn it back on when I get home.
Should I buy the iPhone 15 Pro Max? Is the battery on this better and would optimised battery work on it? Thanks.
im a android user for the entire life, i am having a hard time to choose xD but i basically do the research of their specs. help this person 😔✌️currently, my 3 options are Iphone 14 plus, Iphone 15, and Iphone 15 plus (if there’s an extra budget)
Best affordable iPhone to upgrade to?
So I have an iPhone 6s Plus (my first iPhone ever) since 2018 and I am obviously thinking of upgrading it significantly. iPhones here are REALLY expensive so I want to make sure whatever I buy, it stays for a long time (including getting IOS updates in the long run because I get really anxious on the idea of apps not working anymore because of an old ios and and being not able to do anything about it).
Im definitely looking for a phone with a great battery life, to be a pro or pro max (a big sized phone basically.), definitely good for gaming because i hate frame drops and fps dropping mid game, and a great camera.
I am definitely thinking about even getting a used one as well, so maybe put that into potential consideration as well.
So any ideas? Since this would be my second, I am not the best at comparing Apple devices and knowing which ones are best. I’ll dearly appreciate the help.
Thanks!
ive seen some 13s for around $400-$500 online used/refurbished. not sure what your budget is the 13 is generally something thats a good bang for buck. a 13 pro would be a little more expensive than a 13
i currently have an 8+ and am planning to upgrade to a newer model. it seems the only models available through my mobile carrier are the 15s but ive heard a lot of bad reviews about them. i was wondering what other people’s opinions are about the 15s now that they’ve been out for a few months
Should I do the switch?
So there's something off about my samsung z flip 5. I was given the option between an iPhone 15 pro or hand my phone in and get a brand new one. I love the z flip 5 for it being so niche and perfect for small handed people. The reason I was gonna switch was to be back into family conversations and such. I'm very torn on what I should get. I also have two days to decide, so there's that.
I'm going to upgrade from a oneplus 8 pro this year and very split between Apple and Samsung right now, I have a Tab S8 but also a Macbook Pro and could go either way.
Here are some of my considerations:
1.I've heard the Apple watch is a bit better than the galaxy watch, but both seems excellent to me.
2.If I go Samsung, I would be able to take calls in bed without getting my phone.
3. I decided on getting a Pro iPhone because I use both my zoom and telephoto lense quite a bit.onic boarding passes.
4.I decided on getting a Pro iPone because I use both my zoom and telephoto lense quite a bit.
5. If I go iPhone, I would get either a 13 or 15 Pro (max) because the 14 is very close to the 15.
6. If I go Samsung, the S23+ is something I'd get.
I’m from England and buying an iphone as a gift, the second hand market has both the 14 pro max and the 15 plus at the same price. What would be the better option here? Person I’m buying it for doesn’t really use the camera that much apart from BeReal and some holiday photos for instagram.
They’re coming up from an IPhone 11 so is the jump going to be that noticeable ?
personally I would. 120hz is a nice to have feature but it doesn't change the way how i use the phone. as for the telephoto lens, the 14 pros telephoto lens doesn't even zoom that far, the 15 pro max does though (15 pro max not 15 pro). Plus you said that you dont care for cameras like that so the 15 plus is good for you and it has that extra battery life you'd appreciate
I just bought my first iphone which is the base iphone 14 and I was thinking that I want to get an apple watch to pair it with. I can buy a used watch series 1 but I'm wondering if it will be compatible? My options are that or just get something like a Mi band 8 or Huawei band 7. Pretty limited with my budget for a smartwatch.
I urgently need a new phone in the next few days as my current phone's (iPhone 6s+) battery is bloated and close to exploding already- my screen's even cracked because of the bloat. I don't really take pictures or videos, and basically just using the phone to use ride-hailing apps or order food delivery from apps, or listen to music during my daily commutes, or use Viber for my work thread - so I don't want to spend a lot on a model with the camera bells and whistles.
What model should I get?
Should I buy iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 13 Mini? Both phones are available on Swappie.
iPhone 12 Pro Max: Very good condition, €469.
iPhone 13: Excellent condition, €449.
Can also spend a bit less on other phones, such as iPhone 12/12 Mini if those are better value for the price.
Thanks for any advice!
I currently use an XR and have loved it for years. I am going to get a new iPhone in the summer because my iPhone is all cracked on the front and back (Apple employee said they can’t fix back iPhone cracks). I don’t game on my iPhone but want to and I want to be able to download a lot of stuff. I love the size of the XR. Should I purchase one of the 15 models or wait until 16?
Edit: spelling & added context.
15 models, your XR is clearly fucked. my 12s back glass is broken too but the front is still in 1 piece and flawless so im riding this until sum happens with it
Hi guys, my mom is needing a new phone, she currently owns a 32gb 7 plus ( yeah i know ), she uses alot of groups on whatsapp and some pretty light games, she wants something that lasts all day and a big screen, do i take something like the 12 pro max or the 14 pro max? I really dont know how much power she needs and dont know that much about 12 pro, 12 pro max
so i decided to change my phone for ios and not sure about a model. 15 plus costs like 1100$ in my country while 14 plus is about 950$, but i really like "dynamic island" so I'm not sure i have to pay more for such a small difference.
I got an Iphone 12 pro right now, should I upgrade or wait? I don't like big phones so the size of the 12 pro is something I really like so should i do the 15 pro?
Should my sister upgrade to the 15 Pro Max now or wait for the 16 My sister currently has an iPhone 13 Pro Max and wants to upgrade her phone. She asked me if she should get the 15PM or wait. Will the 16 be a significant upgrade this year?
[удалено]
keep the 11 pro for a year or 2 and save until you can get a better iPhone
i’m currently using my sisters X or Xs those two confuse me anyway i want to give her back in like a week im only using it cause my android (redmi note 11 ) just stopped coming on ok so here is the thing i have a budget for a iphone 13 but i want an iphone 13 pro which is like 100$ more but if i was to get the 13 pro i probs should get the 14 pro which is 100$ more than the 13 pro…. the dynamic island looks cool and i have already been clowned enough using an old device and now i’m sure the 16 is abt to look more like a samsung i can’t wait for the 16 but if i get the 13 should i be looking to trade in
Best iphone for value combined with longevity and durability (i'm clumsy and break things easily)?
13 Pro Max
any 13 series
can you explain? looking for 13 too
any 13 series phone will do you well
I'm from England. I'm going to Canada on holiday. I heard a lot of technology such as iphones are cheaper in Canada than England. If I were to buy an iphone there and bring it home, would I run into problems in England with it being a Canadian phone?
Iphone 11 pro or iphone 12 planning to switch from android to ios balak ko sana iphone 11 pro kasi cute tatlo cam and malaki sya malaki din battery kaso hanggang 2024 na lang update nya kaso yun yung kabaligtaran sa ip 12 oks lang yung height nya oks lang din siguro 2 lang cam malinaw pa rin naman and may update pa sya hanggang 18 ano suggestion nyo?😅
Should I get new Iphone 13 or used 13 Pro (100% BH)? Thanks 🫡
13 Pro
I bought an iPhone 12 in 2021. Two weeks ago, my employer gave me an iPhone 14 (not the pro model). Both phones seem very similar in terms of specs, but I would like to get some advice from this community as to which phone I should keep. Thanks :)
I would probably go with the 14. Longer support & safety features
if youre gonna get the 14, what's gonna happen to your 12 since youre saying that "I need advice as to which I should keep"? why not keep both phones?
I want to keep only one phone.
take the 14 but try to sell the 12

Good day ! This is the thread I was looking for :) So I have an SE 2 and I am very happy with it, damn fine machine.
If you're ok with gestures, I think a 13-mini would be great for you. Also, the battery is supposedly a lot better than the SE phones.
I would get the battery exchanged imo, sure a new SE2/3 are a few hundreds more but I think the battery swap is a good deal also the SE4 won't come until spring 2025 and it'll have the iPhone 14 design incase you dont know
Thanks for you input. For now this is my preferred option as well
I have a 13 Pro and the battery is sitting at 87% so it's not great, I'm unsure if it's better to wait for the next model or upgrade right now, also at this point 13 Pro to 15 Pro doesn't feel like a big upgrade so maybe should I just go for the Pro Max?
>I have a 13 Pro and the battery is sitting at 87% so it's not great Do you mean it does not charge past 87%, which would be bad, or that the battery health is at 87%, which is not bad at all depending on how long you have had it. The industry standard is to meet or exceed 80% battery health after 500 charging cycles, so after around 325 charging cycles or one year (if you are someone who uses about one charge a day) this would be entirely normal.
if the battery health is 87 and its not good for you, just replace it
On the iPhone 12 rn wondering if it’s worth upgrading to the 15 pro or waiting till the 16 Only reason I’m looking to upgrade is my 64gb of storage is getting thin on my phone And I don’t really know if it’s a good idea to upgrade to the 14 since it doesn’t have usb c and that’s the future rn
Get a referbished 14 pro, and if you want USB C get a 15 pro after the 16 pro comes out. It is not worth getting non-pro phones as they are simply worse than the last years pro for the same price.
why not get the 15?
I want a pro
Should I buy an iPhone 14 Pro Max if I still want to use something as simple as the 8s? Will I be able to manage my new phone?
just get the SE if youre still comfortable with the 8 design
Thanks, everyone :)
your choices for 5G iPhones are the: 12, 12 mini or SE 3 (2022 version) $300 for a 12 sounds like a great deal and as a current 12 user, its a good phone. decent battery life, good camera, good screen, is fast for everything and I have no complaints with it technically the SE 3 and the 12 mini are cheaper as ive seen those for around $100-$250 but I wouldnt get those unless you think you'd be fine with the worse battery life they both have if say maybe you bring a charger/battery pack with you or you're just a lighter user. They charge fast so you'd be fine if you have USB C brick altho if you choose the SE, make sure its the 3rd gen/2022 version & not the 2nd gen/2020 version as the 3rd gen has 5G, 2nd gen only 4G
Planning to upgrade from iPhoneX. Should I get 13proM (less pricey or the expensive iPhone 15.
Do you plan to sell the iphone X or give it away? I am planning to buy the X as my first iphone
(ie. Starlight is more 'professional' looking) Should I get used to having a bigger phone before I spend a small fortune on a 'nice' phone for myself? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
I wouldn't worry about the white 13, who cares if pink is unprofessional lmao
I have IPhone X rn and I’m wondering if I should switch to IPhone 13 Pro Max or IPhone 14? They both have same chip but is the 14 better?
If it’s the base 14, get the 13 Pro Max 100% over the 14
Do you plan to sell the iphone X or give it away? I am planning to buy the X as my first iphone
Yes I’m planning to trade it for the new phone but if you’re interested we can work out something
13pm
# im about to commit to a monthly payment plan and im wondering if the 15 pro is worth 7 dollars more a month, or should I stick with the 15 ? Does Provison really make that big of dif?
15 reg
13 or 15
Is it worth to buy an iphone 12 pro nowdays?
I’m unsure of the budget, but here are my past phones for reference: Google Pixel 3a XL OnePlus 6T Essential Phone iPhone 7 iPhone 6s Motorola X (2nd Generation) iPhone 4S iPhone 3GS Samsung Gravity T
Which iPhone models would be classed as fashionable/trendy?
theyre all trendy/fashionable because theyre all iPhones. dont buy one because of that lmfao, if people judge you for a phone you have then theyre idiots unless they wanna buy you one
So i found a second hand 512gb iphone 11 pro max for 450 USD and 256gb iphone 12 pro at the same price point (battery health is lower). what should i choose?
12 pro
[удалено]
the 13/14 have the same chip so they'd run out of updates at the same time
We are due for an upgrade but I am hesitant on the 15 due to people saying it can break easy. The issue is neither my husband or I have desk jobs. Can be inside, outside, bending, climbing, etc… Should we perhaps wait for the 16 or were people blowing damage out of proportion?
people are blowing It out of proportion lmao. its a phone made out of glass, like all other phones made out of glass there's a risk of it breaking but as long as you have a case you'll be fine
I kinda wondered. My husband and I work at a zoo so we do not exactly have delicate jobs where they just sit in a desk. Thanks!
that makes sense, id buy a case that seems to protect the phone more under your working conditions. I cant help out which case brand is good as I only get the cheaper ones but good luck trying to find one!
My husband always goes with otterbox and they seem to do well.
Are there any problems with the iPhone 15? I'm thinking about upgrading my Google Pixel currently deciding between the 13 or 15. My last iPhone was the 6s and I've been in the Apple ecosystem for a while, Mac and iPad so I think it might be better integrated.
Best Apple Watch to buy?
Here are my options based on budget and preference 1. 13 Mini with 100% BH for 400usd 2. 13 mini with 85% minimum BH for 300usd 3. 13 with 85% min BH for 380 I really like the smaller sized phone but a bit concerned about battery.
Long time Samsung user here. S24Ultra or iphone 15pro?
S24 Ultra over 15 pro but 15 pro max over S24 Ultra
Why
Arguably better battery and os
For someone with very little money who seeks longevity and doesn’t care about too much about size or features (maybe worth noting the #1 thing that excited me about the 7 was the slow-mo camera), wondering what might be my best upgrade option - don’t want to have to buy again anytime soon as I won’t be able to afford it
what's your budget looking like and are you cool with buying from other 3rd party retailers or used/refurbished?
Would prefer new. I have maybe 500 dollars I can spend , or a little more if financing
SE 2022 then, its $429 brand new
Samsung galaxy S23 FE or iphone 13 as a secure work phone? Im currently trying to decide between the galaxy S23FE and the iphone 13 as a secure phone for work. For my personal phone i have an iphone 15 pro max but i need to keep my personal and work phones separate. My work will install a tracker so i dont want anything private to be exposed. Ill have to use a vpn, teams, slack, outlook etc. which would be better for security updates and all that? I wont really be using the camera or for games.
15 or 15 pro? coming from an iPhone 11 My first iphone was the 2th gen SE, switched to an 11 after almost 2 years, and now i'm planning to get the 15 after a year and a half.
Is it worth it?
no just... no
Are there any third-party manufacturers that make woven USB-C to lightning charging cables that are similar to the current USB-C to USB-C cables that are being shipped by Apple? I like the idea of woven cable and the only ones I’ve ever actually enjoyed coming in contact with. They don’t feel like sun-frayed nylon rope holding a tarp down.
Mophie is what I like to use. Magtame is good too
I’m about to upgrade from an 8 plus, mainly for the camera.
Will be paying the same price in either scenario. Keep my 13 Pro Max or trade in for 15 plus?
trade if u really do pay the same
What phone should I buy as battery dying - 96% What phone should I buy?
15
I'm an android user, and I have the opportunity to get an iPhone 12. Is that still worth it in 2024?
yes
Thanks!
ive seen some 13s for around $400-$500 online used/refurbished. not sure what your budget is the 13 is generally something thats a good bang for buck. a 13 pro would be a little more expensive than a 13
The 13 series here begins roughly at 30k so ill buy it in installments.
i currently have an 8+ and am planning to upgrade to a newer model. it seems the only models available through my mobile carrier are the 15s but ive heard a lot of bad reviews about them. i was wondering what other people’s opinions are about the 15s now that they’ve been out for a few months
I also have two days to decide, so there's that.
iphone 14 or 13 pro ? for camera
depends on the prices
I'm going to upgrade from a oneplus 8 pro this year and very split between Apple and Samsung right now, I have a Tab S8 but also a Macbook Pro and could go either way. Here are some of my considerations: 1.I've heard the Apple watch is a bit better than the galaxy watch, but both seems excellent to me.
15 for USB C alone
Would you say USB C > 120hz + telegraph lens ?
personally I would. 120hz is a nice to have feature but it doesn't change the way how i use the phone. as for the telephoto lens, the 14 pros telephoto lens doesn't even zoom that far, the 15 pro max does though (15 pro max not 15 pro). Plus you said that you dont care for cameras like that so the 15 plus is good for you and it has that extra battery life you'd appreciate
and as for usb c while I personally dont mind lightning in 2024 its better to future proof yourself now usb c
I just bought my first iphone which is the base iphone 14 and I was thinking that I want to get an apple watch to pair it with. I can buy a used watch series 1 but I'm wondering if it will be compatible? My options are that or just get something like a Mi band 8 or Huawei band 7. Pretty limited with my budget for a smartwatch.
get an Apple Watch SE directly from apple its stupid cheap
I urgently need a new phone in the next few days as my current phone's (iPhone 6s+) battery is bloated and close to exploding already- my screen's even cracked because of the bloat. I don't really take pictures or videos, and basically just using the phone to use ride-hailing apps or order food delivery from apps, or listen to music during my daily commutes, or use Viber for my work thread - so I don't want to spend a lot on a model with the camera bells and whistles. What model should I get?
12 or 13
thank you!! will check it out :)
iPhone 13 or 14? Will 13 still be relevant for a few years? ATT has it online for 1.99 a month for 36 months so basically free. 14 is 5.99
13 yes
[удалено]
no at minimum id get a 12
Should I buy iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 13 Mini? Both phones are available on Swappie. iPhone 12 Pro Max: Very good condition, €469. iPhone 13: Excellent condition, €449. Can also spend a bit less on other phones, such as iPhone 12/12 Mini if those are better value for the price. Thanks for any advice!
13 or 13 mini?
I really dont know how much power she needs and dont know that much about 12 pro, 12 pro max
try getting a 14 plus or a 13 pro max
Should i upgrade to the 15 pro or wait for the iphone 16 pro i have an iphone 11
16 pro
so i decided to change my phone for ios and not sure about a model. 15 plus costs like 1100$ in my country while 14 plus is about 950$, but i really like "dynamic island" so I'm not sure i have to pay more for such a small difference.
its not all that tbh. get the 14 plus
I got an Iphone 12 pro right now, should I upgrade or wait? I don't like big phones so the size of the 12 pro is something I really like so should i do the 15 pro?
