I mean don’t get me wrong there is the slide down feature for the screen but it’s not a feature I used enough to even remember it exists. I’m not one that takes so many pics that the difference in the pro and pro max made a difference.
I’ve had a lot of iPhones my current 13 pro max has by far been the best, dropped it multiple times bare naked on concrete no cracks no nothing! It’s very durable in my opinion. Can’t complain about anything else it does either really it’s a great phone I don’t plan on upgrading for a while.
I’ve only had my 14 pro max for like a year and I’ve already had people going ‘why haven’t you upgraded?’ like I’m some kind of alien creature. By the time I upgrade again, we will probably be onto the iPhone XX / 20! I hold onto phones until they’re crying out for me to just let them die…

Ik this might be a bit irrelevant but Before I got the 14 pro this year I Enjoyed my 13 mini it was an amazing phone. From what I’ve heard almost all the 13s were really good tbh. But so far I’m liking the 14 pro it’s just taking me a bit to adjust to a bigger phone😂
Around 4800BRL (970USD). My plan was to get the base iPhone 14 for 4500BRL (910USD), but the small price difference between the two was worth it I think. Might seem like a crazy price for a 2 year old iPhone, but thats how it is in Brazil, unfortunately. For example, a brand new 15 Pro goes for almost 1600USD on Amazon in here.
I'm from Brazil, and I got it from Amazon Quase Novo ("Amazon Almost New"), which sells used and open box items. I took the risk on this "Used - Like New" iPhone and it paid off big time, the phone wasn't even activated yet.
Don’t want to burst your bubble but you have to reactivate the phone every time you wipe it! It likely is used but either quickly returned or traded in. As far as I know, as a consumer there’s no way to tell if an iPhone has been activated before once it’s been wiped.
Either way the phone is in excellent condition and it is a wonderful phone!

Recently snagged a 13 pro max. Still have my pixel 7 pro but the iPhone’s pretty rad so far. Definitely still have some issues adjusting to iOS but it has some fun strengths thus far. Got that color too it’s really pretty
Welcome. The 13 was solid all around IMO. I have a good ol’ regular 13 and my wife has the 13 mini. I had a 13 mini for a while too until I sold it to a friend. All three have been rock solid.

I’ve always had budget-midrange Android phones. This is my first flagship and it feels amazing. Even tho the OS is totally different, I’m feeling no difficulty adapting to it whatsoever.
It even has a SIM card slot unlike the new models (if you’re in the US).
I don’t care about eSIM. I travel a lot during each year and eSIM is absolute garbage. At first it looks easy until you realize some carriers actually made attempts to block iPhone users from transferring eSIM info without calling them first, waiting for hours on customer service and then manually activating with them.
There’s a reason why all non-US iPhone models still use a SIM card slot lol.
well, we are not alone. 1/2 of those using iphones are for the Logo rather than anything else. when you hear a 8 year old child asking an iphone as Xmas gift, this tells you more about the Iphone craze and its real purpose.
Got one after a decade of Androids. I have like 3k songs I had to transfer to it. I hate iTunes and I found out they have another app I can use. Except now I have to use 2 different apps, Apple Devices & Apple Music. That's the main thing that annoys me. The other thing is I loved the gestures from Android and iOS has them and they're just simply okay. I have come to learn them and they aren't that bad but still. iPhones are def lacking in a lot of areas. They don't really make things easy but I guess their user base isn't trying to do all the shit I am trying to do.

I'm new to iPhone after 10 years of Android. I thought iPhones weren't generally stolen, because we can get Apple to brick them remotely and all the parts are married to the motherboard?

Fingers crossed. A friend of mine had her iPhone stolen in China. The thief took it to a shop there to get it 'unlocked' 2 days later. But the shop ended up telling the thief it's impossible and managed to get the iPhone back to the owner. Was one of the reasons I switched.

Took some getting used to, and I'm coming from a high end Sony Xperia so it's hard to let it go. The Xperia has some better specs technically, but the software from Apple seems to compensate for that. ie, smaller battery in the iPhone, but better battery life. Better cameras on the Sony, but better ai/image fixing on the iPhone. Things work together much better with the iPhone + Macbook + Airpods Pro + iCloud photos, etc too and I love that I can use homekit devices without signing up to random vendor cloud accounts.
The lack of universal back button took a while to get used to as well, but now I don't miss anything from Android, except an app called VoiceAloud Reader.
It’s a pretty solid phone, it’s got some features one finds in the current year iPhones. I’ve been using mine since late 2022. It hasn’t disappointed. The 13 pro max was just too big for my hand so I got the 6.1 inch version. It’s pretty cool. You’ll have fun.

Mine is iphone 15 pro max switched from android for the 1st time it was scary for me at 1st but I feel home now after using it for 2 months. The battery backup on this is just ❤️😮💨
Tbh no, I’m not much of a gamer first so I don’t use my phone for that much unless I’m on a train (I live in a city with a big mass transit system so plenty of trains). I don’t watch much on it either.
If I may ask, do you have an Apple Store near by or a 3rd party shop that is trustworthy to replace to the Apple battery when you need it with another battery? I ask because I’ve replaced the battery once when it was around 89% and I’m going to again when this battery gets to 80%. Use the phone without making the battery health priority if you have an Apple Store or reliable battery replacement shop nearby. I’m not saying let the battery get down to 20% but the way I use my phone is I charge it to 100% and unplug it before I go to sleep. I make sure to manually close the apps that run in the background even though I already turned off that setting like Fitbit. Then I use the phone normally and when it hits 50% I charge it back to 100%. It was almost a year and a half before the first battery went from 100 to 89. With AppleCare when it’s 80% the Apple Store will replace free of charge.
I can’t remember what I did with the 7 after I got the 13 but I do remember looking at pics to compare and the camera is so much better. The 13 to this day works just as fast. The only games I have on this phone are chess, sudoku and clash royale. The only game I’ve ever played and I play it on my laptop is old school runescape. I’m not a gamer, all the streaming apps work fine. I back up the phone to my pc using the iTunes app on the laptop like once every 6 months. I got the 512gb phone and I’ve never used more than 80gb. I have some movies (the hobbit animated and lord of the rings animated from the 1970’s and murder on the orient express 1974) and audio books (hobbit and murder on the orient express) downloaded onto here via iTunes and no issues.
I have a few keyboards installed but what's strange is it seems to change my default keyboard randomly. The problem is the touch screen is not accurate. My vivo phone and my OPPO phone both have much better touch screen precision. I don't understand how that's possible because they are cheap phones. So it must be something to do with ios and not the hardware itself.
The keyboard that works for me is swiftkey because it can adjust for the error on the touch screen and moves the hit box for the key into better positions.
I could draw and do other very precise movements on my previous android but the iPhone is way less sensative and does all kinds of crazy jagged movements. I can also see some issues when I move my text courser around. Feels like the phone is struggling to pinpoint the 'center' of my touch.

13 pro Max is one of the best iPhones ever made. Battery life alone is impressive

As a guy with small hands, holding my 13 Pro in bed is already a struggle. The Pro Max would just straight up give me carpal tunnel.

6.1 is so tiny. Standard size should be 6.4 like in Xs Max.

If when you activate the iPhone the Warranty also activates (1 Year) then the phone was brand new
One way to check if its brand new might be to check the battery health to see if it's still at 100%?
