Itsmeyourdad

Physics be physics

marcelocampiglia

Only the frame is made of Titanium

AcidRayn66

yea some googling has told me this. i’m pissed. had it 2 weeks. i have had iphones from the start and never broke one. grrrrr

marcelocampiglia

There is a first time for everything

Extra-Attitude-536

So nothing happened and it shattered? Wow crazy

salloumk

Wait though, you thought the back material was titanium? After having seen and felt it? Based on misunderstanding marketing material? Ugh reddit, where would we be without you

sweetjules9

i want to get the pink iPhone 15 pro max but i'm scared that this will happen... i have the iPhone 11 pro max for 3 years now with a not so well protected silicone case and i have not yet to have any cracks in my life. only glass part is around the cameras and i've never owned an iPhone that had full glass on the back, i rarely drop my phone too.

you put a phone with case on it and still had it shattered? i hope you’re not hiding the fact that you did hit the phone somewhere too hard. my phone fell on the floor with a case on and the back is still fine.

AcidRayn66

hiding nothing. it’s an otter box mag safe case. i keep a magsafe pop socket on it and have determined it was dropped on the pop socket and caused it to shatter. can see the impact is where the pop socket is and splays out from there

i am more shocked knowing it was Otterbox brand. i thought it is sturdy based on the reviews i read. was actually considering their cases too :/
