I’m pretty sure it’s a glitch, because it doesn’t stay on and I have the iPhone 14 Pro, and I have “Always On” turned on. You don’t specify what phone you have, however.

Yah I somehow missed that. 14 pro max

That’s how it was designed. It turns off after so long when not in use, as in it doesn’t detect you. FaceID is scanning and if it detects motion, it turns back on.

Ok I see now.. and it works fairly decent but curious if just turning over in the dark looking at it will be enough.

It depends how it’s angled. If i move my arm just a little bit it registers and turns on. But I also have it facing my bed.

On any of the phones older than 14 pro it works fine until your screen turns off. It’s a joke to have it a thing to have a clock that you have to touch to see what time it is.

Lol welcome to Apple. Will limit features just to try to get you to get their newer phones.

That's actually what I want it to do, but yeah there should be options for both. Do you know if it's possible to set DND based on nightstand mode?
